The Phil Campbell Bobcats out of class 3A travel to Russellville to face the Golden Tigers for a non-area matchup. The two teams out of Franklin County look for bragging rights in the schools’ first matchup in a while. For those who can’t make it to the game tonight, we are on hand to provide a quality live broadcast from inside the RMS Gymnasium.

Noah Brady will be providing play-by-play commentary while Austin Balding assists as a color analyst. We will begin coverage for the Girl’s game beginning at 6:00 and tip off at 6:15 PM CST. We will then resume coverage following the Girl’s game with the Boy’s game when it tips off. You can find us on the NFHS Network!

As 2024 comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone who has tuned in the past ten years to the Golden Tiger Sports Network! Whether you have been there from the start or just started tuning in…we couldn’t have made it this far without you!

Each season our broadcasts get better and better! Each year our viewership numbers also continue to increase. We recognize that the Golden Tiger fan base is far and away the best in the state of Alabama! You continually show up and show out for our students every sporting event whether in-person or at home. We also feel that support through your texts, sharing posts, feedback, etc.

From the past ten years, we have had the pleasure of students, faculty, volunteers, and administration play a key role in keeping the wheels rolling. As we celebrate ten years, take a look at the logos and names that we’ve operated under through the years!

For those who missed it….

The Golden Tigers closed things out in style in an epic 75-70 victory over Deshler that went right to the wire! The Russellville Golden Tigers boys start the season at 1-0 before traveling to Red Bay on November 25th.

We will be back on air on December 2nd as the Golden Tigers will be back home to face the Austin Black Bears out of class 7A! Be sure if you can’t make it to the game to tune in to home games this season on the Golden Tiger Sports Network!

THE PLAYOFFS ARE FINALLY HERE!

Russellville. Wenonah. Winner moves on & loser goes home.

The Golden Tiger Sports Network is excited to be on hand to provide a quality live broadcast from inside Golden Tiger Stadium on the NFHS Network. Alan Willingham, Noah Brady, and Jonathan Odom will be on the call. Jess Smith will be roaming the sidelines giving us reports as they come. The Golden Tigers have not lost a first round playoff game since 2018. Russellville is 1-0 all-time over Wenonah with a 21-14 win in their only meeting in 1994. Wenonah finished third in Class 5A Region 5 which includes premier programs such as Corner, Ramsay, Parker, and Briarwood.

Be sure to catch the game live on the NFHS Network with pregame beginning at 6:30 PM and kickoff is at 7:00 PM!

IT’S GAMEDAY!

The Russellville Golden Tigers (2-1) goes on the road to face the East Limestone Indians (0-2) in the Golden Tigers second region game of the 2024 season. The Golden Tigers are coming off a 42-20 victory over region rival Lawrence County last week! Russellville’s Cam Phinizee had 359 rushing yards and 5 TDs last week. He comes into tonight as the nation’s second leading rusher. Meanwhile, East Limestone is the loser of two straight and coming off a bye week. Russellville and East Limestone have played a total of 14 times with this season being the 15th meeting. The Golden Tigers lead the overall series 12-2 and are winners of seven straight in the series.

If you can’t make it to the game tonight, you don’t have miss it! Be sure to tune in live on the NFHS Network to catch the game! The Golden Tiger Sports Network will be on hand to provide a quality live broadcast from inside Carvnar Stadium. Alan Willingham, Jonathan Odom, and Noah Brady will provide commentary while Jess Smith will provide our sideline reports.
