Public Utilities are in the process of repairing a water main in the area of East Roxboro on both sides of Depot Street, including Pine, Broad, Woodlawn Streets. This may affect surrounding areas. Services will be restored as soon as possible but may take a few hours.

Public Utilities are working to repair a water leak on Beacon Street. Water services near Park, Pointer, School, and Beacon Streets (inside Longhurst) have been temporarily interrupted. Other surrounding streets may also be affected. Services will be restored as soon as possible.

After heavy consideration OCS management has decided it is in the best interest of competitors, teams and fan to cancel this weekend's event scheduled for Saturday May 18th.

With the amount of rain we have received already this week and the forecast for additional rain Saturday we feel this is the right decision for all.

Our next event is scheduled for Saturday June 22nd and we hope to see you then at America's Fastest 3/8 where we welcome back the Carolina Pro Late Model Series / Carolina Crate Modified Series

Our brave police canine, Kilo, is fighting for his life and urgently needs medical care. Earlier today, Kilo experienced a medical emergency. With the amazing care of Bahama Road Veterinarian Hospital, they performed emergency surgery to stabilize him.

Kilo is in critical condition at NC State Veterinarian hospital. Let's rally together to support K9 Kilo and his police canine handler in this time of need. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference in giving our furry hero the medical care he deserves.

Main Street will be closed from Reams/Depot down to Merritt Commons and Court and Abbitt Streets will be closed as well. Please make sure you do not leave parked cars in this area as towing will be enforced. The streets need to be clear for the food trucks and vendors to have their correct locations. Please share this with any residents or citizens who you know may park their cars in this area!

The Roxboro Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating Kamal Damian Edwards, 23 years old, in connection with a recent robbery at the Cash Store on Chub Lake Street.

Edwards is wanted for his alleged involvement in the robbery, and the authorities have reason to believe he is armed and dangerous. Given the nature of the crime and the potential risk to public safety, we urge individuals not to approach Edwards if spotted, but to immediately contact the Roxboro Police Department.
