Calling young anglers: it’s time for the Annual GHC Youth Fishing Rodeo!

Georgia Highlands College will host its Annual GHC Youth Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, June 1, at Paris Lake on the Floyd Campus, 3175 Cedartown Hwy, Rome, Ga.

Fishing will begin at 8:30AM with the last weigh-in for prizes at 11:30AM.

The Six Mile Post of Georgia Highlands College is named after the old railroad station and trading post that was once located near where the college was founded in Floyd County. The Six Mile Post represents the student voice and is produced by the students of Georgia Highlands College. There are seven print and online issues published a year.
