So I've renamed this page!!

New Year... Same ol' salty me!!

While Rusty Nail Culinary is still in the background and operating under Cottage Law, the home inspection biz is taking up ALLLLL my time...

Sooooo.... I've decided to modify this page to share food, drink, adventures, and dumb s**t I can't share on page 🤣 {Trying to stay professional and stuff}

While page will still have it's moments of antics, because I just can't help myself, I can be more unfiltered and unhinged here!!

And I can share food and drink recipes, recommendations from our adventures, wedding planning, and other fun stuff!!

🔥🍸¡Fuego! Lime Rosemary Martini🍸🔥

🍈This martini is absolutely delicious! So refreshing, a beautiful Summer cocktail!

Rusty Nail Hot Honey adds that Fuego kick 🔥

Recipe:
2oz Western Sons Lime Vodka
2oz Lime Juice 5-1oz Rusty Nail Hot Honey 🔥🍯
(adjust for heat preference)
Rosemary Sprigs

In a cocktail shaker, muddle ~1tbs fresh rosemary with a small amount of Lime juice.
After muddled, add ice, remaining Lime juice, Vodka and Hot Honey.

Shake shake shake!!

Strain into a chilled martini glass and ENJOY! 🍸

🦞🦞CRAWFISH ENCHILADAS 🦞🦞 with Red Beans and Rice 😍

Ohhhh yallll!!! This Crawfish Enchilada dish with Red Beans and Rice is 🔥🔥🔥

Crawfish season is nearing the end 😪 but the Crawfish dishes don't need to!

These enchiladas are topped with a cream sauce that balances with the Crawfish and Holy Trinity of the inside. 🫑🧅

The Red Beans were perfectly amazing with a side of veggie style Dirty Rice.

Rusty Nail Cajun, Herb Blend, SPG, and ground Chili Petin were used! ❤️

I paired this dish with Texas Albarino that I got with my membership. PERFECT!

🦞🦞CRAWFISH ENCHILADAS 🦞🦞 with Red Beans and Rice 😍

🍅✨️Baked Burrata with Roasted Tomatoes✨️🍅

What about absolutely lovely and delicious appetizer!

Quick and SIMPLE!

Served with Herbed Crostini ❤️

Recipe:
2 balls Burrata Cheese
1c Cherry Tomatoes, halved
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1tbsp Rusty Nail Herb Blend
EVOO
Baguette, cut into slices
Balsamic Glaze (optional)

Preheat oven to 375.

In a small baking dish, add tomatoes, garlic, and Herb Blend. Toss with EVO until coasted.

Cook Tomatoes for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, since Baguette and drizzle with EVOO and sprinkle with more Herb Blend.

After 15 minutes, remove tomatoes and push toward outer edges of baking dish. Place balls of Burrata in the center of the dish. Continue baking mix for 10 minutes.

Place Baguette slices in oven and toast until crisp.

Remove from oven, drizzle with Balsamic Glaze and top with fresh Basil and Oregano.

Balsamic Glaze:
1/2c Balsamic Vinegar
4-5tsp Sugar

Combine in a small saucepan over med-low heat until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking until reduces to desired consistency, I like a warm honey consistency.

🍋🫐LEMON BLUEBERRY MARTINI🫐🍋

OH MY! This drink screams Summertime! Sooo good and oh so refreshing!

2oz Blueberry Vodka
2oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1oz Simple Syrup

Shake all ingredients well in a shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with a lemon slice and blueberries. If you like a sweeter taste, rim the martini glass with lemon and dip in sugar.

Picanha Steak with Balsamic Glazed Leeks, Garlic Parm Smashed Potatoes and Chimichurri Sauce 😍😍

Grabbed this Picanha at NEW location in Victoria. Decided to keep the dish Brazilian inspired 🇧🇷

Marinated the Picanha with a coffee based marinade and Rusty Nail Fine SPG and Rusty Nail Cowboy Seasonings. Cooked over an open flame on the trusty Old Smokey 🤩

Made a homemade Chimichurri, threw in some Rusty Nail ground Chili Petin to enhance the flavor

Smashed the potatoes with a garlic cream sauce and parmesean cheese.

Sautéed the Leeks and drizzled with a simple Balsamic reduction.

This meal was 🔥❤️

Paired with The Horn. One of my favorite Reds and paired wonderfully!

🥩 I like my beef on the rare side, cooked to an internal temp of 120. It was perfectly cooked for me and amazingly tender and flavorful. For those of you liking a little more pink and a little less red, I suggest cooking to an internal temp of 130-135.
