If you're able to stop by for a bite, I HIGHLY recommend the Pyttipanne with the addition of bacon (or without honestly, it's that good).

I had a very productive morning; typed out two whole blog posts to be optimized and posted, set up a meeting with a colleague who has wisdom to share, and found a Latin proverb that spoke to my soul. More to come on that later. 😉

All in all, a good week just about wrapped up.

I know it's probably silly, but I do get a kick out of these little certificates that digital platforms often give us for using them so much. I have been using a paid Canva plan for probably 5+ years. It's really been one of the easiest/cleanest design apps I've ever used.

Do you think it will ever overtake Twitter for total active accounts?

Launched less than a year ago as a rival for Twitter, Threads is continuing to gain ground with users.

Mark your calendar for the National Association of Letter Carriers "Stamp out Hunger" food drive on Saturday, May 11th. Participating is simple and every donation stays in the 815 community. Simply leave bagged, nonperishable, non-expired food items (please, no glass) on your front steps or porch, and your letter carrier will pick them up when he or she brings your mail. Members and volunteers from the Greater Rockford Pantry Coalition will be at the Harrison, Windsor, and Kilburn post offices to assist in unloading and sorting. All food received will be divided amongst the 9 Rockford pantries, including Rock River Valley Pantry, at a time when donations are down and need is high. Since last year at this time, the pantries are seeing an 88% increase in those that need our help. So set it out, forget it, and leave the rest of the work to us.

Among other things, I love to play and write about RPG games, video games, TTRPG’s, cats 🐈, nature and Fantasy literature.
