The Corning Community Food Pantry has faithfully served our neighbors in need since 1973—hundreds of thousands. Each client’s story is unique, and they face hard times for various reasons: sudden job loss, a health crisis, disability, divorce, and, more recently, the higher costs of basic necessities. Their caring, all-volunteer staff provides each individual and family with enough nutritious groceries to last 5-7 days. Thanks to the kind supporters, their pantry maintains industrial refrigerators and freezers, so they stock items such as dairy, eggs, fresh produce, meats, and fish—in addition to non-perishable foods.

During this year's annual fundraiser, FLXGives, the food pantry is again raising funds for their annual Thanksgiving Groceries Distribution. Families will receive enough food for a turkey dinner with all the sides/fixings, while individuals and seniors will be given ingredients for a whole roasted chicken meal. We worked on a logo and website redesign for in Ithaca, NY. The rebrand was inspired by the restaurant’s commitment to the farm-to-table experience that celebrates the local agricultural community, the many farmers they partner with, and the culinary industry and education they foster. The newly launched website also features photography we captured and a digital menu we designed. We also designed a hardcopy menu that will be presented to restaurant guests.

As a small business, we understand the challenges many other small businesses face—from the financial bleed that comes with starting a new business to balancing that with the investment needed to help get the business out there and going. So it feels good anytime we can support another small business and meet them where they are, especially one we already love and support as consumers. We are delighted to work with the Soupapotamus crew on their rebranding and digital presence. But more than anything, we love to see a small business owned by a woman and focused on delivering a healthier food product to our families - and, in turn, supporting other local food purveyors, thriving. We loved the Elmira Juneteenth Celebration and capturing the moment's joy this past weekend. Thank you to everyone who agreed to allow us to do so. "Juneteenth is a celebration of Black American liberation, and while we, Afro-Latinos, have a different freedom story, freedom and success is something we celebrate with ALL Black people, regardless," said Carol Cain, our agency director and founder, adding, "because while the ships might have dropped off our ancestors at different ports, we all come from the same Motherland and our global freedom, no matter how different that journey, represents their dreams come true."
