It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Andre Braughner, aka Captain Raymond Holt of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He passed away today at the age of 61 due to a currently undisclosed illness.

While also known for his roles in 1989's Glory, 2007's The Mist, and TV's Homicide: Life on the Street, we feel that his role as Captain Holt was one of the most iconic roles of this century. His ability to bring a wide range of emotions out of his character without actually showing emotion proved he was a master of his craft.

In his life he had the honor of earning 18 NAACP Award nominations (winning 3), 11 Primetime Emmys (winning 2), and 4 Critic's Choice Awards (winning 2).

A iconic LGBTQ+ character, on one of the best written and diverse casted shows that has ever aired. If you have never seen his work in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, we highly recommend checking it out sooner than later. In the meantime, rest easy Andre Braughner, you are already sorely missed.

The secret word of the day is "Heartbreaking"

As children of the 90s, we grew up watching P*e Wee. Whether it was on re-runs Saturday mornings, or on Adult Swim starting in the summer of 2006. To call this character an icon in the world of children's programming doesn't even begin to describe it.

Paul Reuben's was legendary as a comedian, and even moreso as P*e Wee, the loveable whacko, who loved his bike just a bit more than his array of weird friends.

Thank you for the memories, Paul. We hope you are at peace.

Due to technical errors caused by Audacity, the file that was this pod, that was to premiere tomorrow, is now corrupted. This is not the first time this has happened with this program, but it will be the last. We are using a new, paid for, program.

The original audio files for this recording still exist. That being said, Cory does not have it in him to try and crunch to get this out in time. One day the episode will be edited and posted, but that will not be for quite some time.
