Hello all there will be a zoom meeting at 7:30 pm tonight, here we will be creating a list of our demands in a QR code to apply pressure so it eventually gets in the hands of people in charge, we have concerns with our government so we will document it all. They will most likely ignore us but it does not mean we give up, now we have proof of documentation. Please list your demands that are both locally and globally. Affinity group - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This group was formed in solidarity for the Riverside Occupy movement. We who have been attending the Occupy Riverside movement know that there are elements of oppression that have been playing out in the dialogue at the General Assembly meetings as well as the other planning committees. The purpose of this affinity is to plan actions and educational workshops that focus on the Occupy Riverside movement from more of an anarchist perspective. We have no agenda and are in solidarity with what occupy movement's collective consensus.

What is an Affinity Group?

An Affinity group is usually a small group of activists (usually from 3-20) who work together on direct action.

Affinity groups are organized in a non-hierarchical manner, usually using consensus decision making, and are often made up of trusted friends. They provide a method of organization that is flexible and decentralized.

Affinity groups can be based on a common ideology (e.g., anarchism, pacifism), a shared concern for a given issue (e.g., anti-nuclear, anti-war) or a common activity, role or skill (e.g., legal support, medical aid, black blocs). Affinity groups may have either open or closed membership, although the latter is far more common (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affinity_group).

Affinity groups are organized in a non-hierarchical manner, usually using consensus decision making, and are often made up of trusted friends. They provide a method of organization that is flexible and decentralized.
