I call this one "Twisted" I been so focused on my other project that I've been slacking on the space art a bit, but I finished this one today.

At the end I give a little explanation on how to understand the flow of galaxies so you can make one yourself, especially in regards to

Those kind of can be a little be tricky to create, but the best way to make them is by *understanding the flow* be sure to check out the example on the last page 😘

M57, or the Ring Nebula, is a planetary nebula, the gleaming remaining parts of a sun-like star. The small white speck in the focal point of the nebula is the star's hot center, called a white dwarf. M57 is around 2,000 light-years away in the star grouping Lyra, and is best seen during August. Found by the French cosmologist Antoine Darquier de Pellepoix in 1779, the Ring Nebula can be spotted with large telescopes.

Although some nebulae known as dark nebulae, if we were to take a look within, hidden worlds would be unveiled. Who knows what kind of mysteries lie within these enormous structures.
A dark nebula is a nebula that doesn't emit its own light, these regions are so dense with cosmic material that it blocks out the light from foreground stars and other luminous cosmic objects like emissions nebulae and reflection nebulae.
What secrets do you think lie within these dark regions?

After a star has finished forming, it begins it's fusion process, the surrounding materials get pulled into a circumstellar disk. Over time the raw elements coalesce into planets, moons and other space objects.

Eventually the disk will become a solar system and the remaining materials are dispersed into space. Blown away by the solar winds from the star. Revealing the hidden worlds behind the clouds...

Did you know that there are different types of Nebulae? Not every Nebula is bright and glowing, and not every Nebula produces it's own light. There are clear distinctions between each type of Nebula.

My favorite type of Nebula for example is known as an Emission Nebula. So what is an Emission Nebula?

These Nebulae are clouds of ionized gas covered over vast regions of interstellar space. The hydrogen molecules in these Nebulae are Ionized by nearby Type O and Type B stars. This is how the light is produced. They typically glow red and are also called as an H2 region.

Centaurus A is a galaxy located in the constellation of Centaurus. It was discovered by Scottish astronomer James Dunlop in 1826, from his home in New South Wales, Australia. There is impressive discussion in the writing with respect to the galaxy's central properties, for example, its Hubble type and distance.

NGC 5128 is a particular galaxy of extraordinary interest, particularly because it is at the focal point of an enormous wellspring of radio emissions. It's an exceptionally bright galaxy known as an EO with a wide lane of dust crossing through the region of luminosity. The structure is believed to be caused by a crash with a small spiral galaxy. At the time of the collision hypothesis, the only spectra accessible were those of Hubble4 and Humason2. Neither gave adequate data to explain the real essence of how the galaxy could be formed from the movements of the gas and stars within. Making the collision hypothesis a subject of controversy.

As one of the nearest radio galaxies to our solar system, NGC 5128 and its dynamic galactic core have frequently been an object of study, even novice stargazers like to observe this cosmic system because it is one of the brightest galaxies in the sky and finding it isn't very difficult. It is a starburst galaxy, with in excess of 100 districts of star development in the cosmic system's disk. The galaxy's center, however, contains generally developed red stars. The active star formation in the disk is thought to be caused by an impact with another satellite galaxy.

The Rose Galaxy, the shape of this Galaxy was caused by gravitational force of a companion galaxy. This is my digital illustration of the top part of the Rose Galaxy. Known as UGC1810.

The Rose galaxy is classified as an interacting galaxy. The companion galaxy known as UGC1813 was on a collision course with UGC1810. When galaxies collide they create a type of ring shape with the spiral arms.

When looking at the galaxy, Astronomers have speculated that UGC1813 had collided off center. This is what caused the contortion of the spiral arms.

The Rose Galaxy was Imaged on December 10th, 2010 by Hubble's Wide Field Camera 3

Some of the Structure in the universe are mind boggling. There is no shortage of amazing sights in the cosmos. One of these formations that seem impossible is known as the Hand of God.

This structure is formed by the wind of a pulsar star called PSR B1509−58. This pulsar is approximately 17,000 light-years away and can be found in the constellation of Circinus. The formation was discovered by the Einstein X-Ray Observatory in 1982.

The pulsar rapidly spins around, seven times per second, firing out a particle wind into the material around it. The red fiery looking cloud is a different structure from the pulsar wind nebula.

Astronomers think the pulsar's wind is heating the cloud, known as RCW 89, causing it to glow with lower-energy X-ray light.

Molecular Clouds, also known as H2 regions, are vast regions of interstellar space covered by clouds of gas and dust. Some of these H2 regions have the potential to form new stars. If the force of gravity can over come the force that causes the gas disperse, then a protostar will begin to form.
The formation of a new star brings the chance for new worlds to form. As the protostar gains more mass it accelerates the surrounding gas into a circumstellar disk. This disk is what contains the ingredients for planets to form.

Locked in each others embrace, a Neutron Star love story, the birth of gravitational waves

09/29/2020

Take a trip through Space, come and see the Gas Giant and it's many moons,

Gas Giant's tend to have lots of moons. Usually the bigger the planet the more moons that it could have, and this is usually a result of the planet having a huge gravitational force. Maybe these were once protoplanets that found themselves traveling a little to close to a Gas Giant, and was captured in the orbital plane.

Did you know our moon makes Earth a more livable planet, it moderating our worlds's wobble on its axis, leading to a relatively stable climate. It also causes tides..

there are many bizzare moons in our own solar sytem, ther are all like their own little worlds. Whats your Favorite Moon? let me know in the comments.

One of the common traits gas giant planets have is harboring multiple moons. The Gas Giant planet Jupiter has about 79 of them.

Our own solar system is home to more than 200 moons. Most of those moons are orbiting around Jupiter and Saturn.

Astrobiologist are optimistic about the possibility of finding life on a moon. There are a few candidates that might have life on them. One is the moon Europa, that is said to have an ocean under it's Icy surface.

What is your favorite moon? What about outside the solar system? Tell me in the comments.

Spiral Galaxies are amazing and have their own uniqueness to them. Some are called Barred Spiral galaxies. It is believed that we are living inside a barred spiral galaxy.

This Barred Spiral Galaxy is called NGC 7773. NGC 7773 is located in the constellation of Pegasus approximately 400 million light years away. It was discovered on October 9, 1790 by William Herschel.

What happens when two of the densest objects in the universe find themselves locked in a binary orbit? You probably wouldn't believe the results.

Neutron stars are the left over cores of stars that have gone supernova. They are very small in size, but have an unbelievable mass greater than our own sun.

Now when two of these neutron stars find each other, the force of their gravity causes them to form a binary orbit. The two stars will continue to draw closer and closer into each other until they merge. As they rotate faster and faster, they generate gravitational waves that spread out through spacetime.

One of the most beautiful kind of galaxy is a pairs of interacting galaxies. This pair is known as the Rose Galaxy or ARP273.

Some time ago these two galaxies had a collision that caused one of them to have a contorted spiral structure. These galaxies are about 260,000 light years away in the constellation Andromeda.

It is believed by astronomers that the lower galaxy named UGC1813 had passed through UGC1810 the top portion of the Rose Galaxy structure.

Super Earth planets seem to be the norm when it come to exoplanets that are located within the habitable zone.

However, not all of these worlds are exactly like the earth. Some of these super earth planets are know as water worlds.

The closest candidate we know of that could be a water world is a planets named Gliese 1214 b. Observations from the Hubble Space Telescope show that it is enshrouded by a thick, atmosphere. It is located 48 light-years from the Sun, in the constellation Ophiuchus, and was discovered on December 16, 2009.

Among the exoplanets that have been discovered is a planet named Kepler 452b. Kepler-452b is a near-Earth-size world in the habitable zone of a star that is similar to our Sun. This world is approximately 60 percent larger than Earth, wand completes its orbit in 385 days.

This system is 1,402 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. It was discovered on July 23rd, 2015, using the Kepler space telescope.
