The 4th of July is coming, when many pets run away because they are scared of the fireworks.…let’s help our local rescue with insurance fees. This will help the pets that get out on the 4th, leaving open spaces in the shelter for incoming pets. Let’s help them out as they do so much in Moreno Valley and surrounding areas . Anything will help. Even 5.00.

Calling volunteers, we’re expanding outside of California! We’ve already begun onboarding radio scanners and reporters from Oregon, Washington, and Nevada but we still need more to cover the entire American West. watchduty.org/volunteer
As a non-profit organization we rely on volunteers for everything from reporters to software engineering; 60 to be exact.
The most critical to our expansion are radio scanners who listen to first responder radio communications and report on the fire as it happens. If this sounds like you or someone you know please send them to our volunteer page at watchduty.org/volunteer.
Or if your skills lay elsewhere such as legal services or software engineering we could really use your help. All of our software and systems are built to help support our radio scanners and reporters so they can hear everything and never miss a radio transmission.
Please refer to our volunteer job board at watchduty.org/volunteer for more information about volunteering and please share this with anyone you think would be a fit.

COMMUNITY MESSAGE⁣

In response to the recent home invasion robberies occurring in our city, we have a team of detectives and officers dedicated to investigate this uptick in criminal activity. As a result of their continued efforts, we have kept certain information about these investigations out of the public while leads are being followed up on, but will release some details when the need arises for our community’s help. In the meantime, we have set up an email for community members to send in any digital security video and information that could assist in these investigations. Our team is working tirelessly to solve these crimes and are asking for the public to send them relevant information, images, or video of suspicious people and vehicles seen in the neighborhoods where these robberies have occurred. ⁣

A parade of police cars from the Inland Empire will drive-by hospitals in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties to spread holiday cheer. With lights and sirens activated, we hope to spread as much cheer to doctors, nurses and other hospital staff who, over the last two years, have worked around the clock to keep the community safe; a mission law enforcement shares.

On Monday, December 20, 2021, starting at 9 a.m., law enforcement agencies from San Bernardino and Riverside Counties will parade simultaneously in their perspective areas. San Bernardino agencies will start in the high desert and work their way around until every registered hospital is visited.

On Tuesday, December 21, 2021, the parade will continue at 9 a.m. in the valley for San Bernardino County while Riverside County continues in their hospital areas. The final stop for both Counties will be at Loma Linda University Hospital.

With the help of our sponsors, Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC), the Sheriff’s Employee Benefits Association (SEBA), and Stater Bros., this coordinated effort of over 25 law enforcement agencies from the County, Local, State and Federal will travel a total of over 300 miles and visit 30 hospitals. In its second year, is one of the largest events of its kind involving San Bernardino and Riverside County.
So, if you see the parade, honk and wave as a way to show support for our efforts in thanking our front-line workers who undoubtedly give 100% every day.
