My Sons and I: Episode 2 🧦

Tired doesn’t even begin to cover it 😩😩

How is it possible to have a wardrobe full of newer, cleaner, and cozier clothes, yet still get stuck wearing the old, worn-out ones? I know some of us still do as adults but eventhough, eventhough

My youngest son is the perfect example. Despite having thicker and neater socks, he insists on wearing the older ones despite the weather. Every. Single. Day. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve "talked" (okay, yelled a bit, in their words) about this. He pretends to change in my presence, only to sneak back into those annoying pairs once I’m not looking. And it's not just the socks—he has his favorites in shoes, panties, and even hoodies. 😔

So, here's a little disclaimer: If you ever see him sporting those red shoes or "life is unfair" socks, know that I have no connection to his fashion choices. T for thanks.

Be that friend that will not sting. But more importantly, Be the one who will not blink to do what’s right, regardless.

Be that friend a friend can run to. Be that friend a friend can stick to. Be that friend a friend can cry to. Be that friend a friend that laugh with. Be that friend a friend can pray with. Be that friend a friend can play with.
But remember, the one you call a Friend, must Himself or Herself be Friendly. If not, you may have a Fan but not a Friend.

I am genuinely surprised he could dance this much😂😂. Am I the only one that feels this way? I thought is only leave me at altar with my father posture alone e sabi.
We can only pray that God answer all his prayers and give him eternal joy and gladness. Congratulations to him again.

Gist time: My son was forming sentences using certain Yoruba words, I sa noticed he was struggling to find the right words. It was an assignment given by his teacher (they have an online Yoruba teacher).

So I got into the scene and asked ‘ki lo n try lati so?’ I am trying to form a sentence using ‘fila’ (a male hat), he said. Okay, go on…
Then he goes, ‘fila mi wa expensive’ en! ki le wi sir? 😂😂😂 Sorry, mo mean pe ’fila mi wa fashionable’
I said ah! egbami ooo😂😂😂
By this time I was rolling on the floor,
mummy stop, I mean to say that ‘fila mi make sense’
Ah! Owo ti jonna ooo🤣🤣🤣🤣 we laughed so hard

Then, he said ‘fila mi tuntun’ En en, we finally formed a correct sentence o e ba wa dupe😂. The younger brother wanted to help his brother to form a sentence using ewa (beans)
Baba said ‘mo feran eating beans ‘ Wo, I am not doing this again😂😂 , e ma pa mi🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
