Sweater Nail Tutorial ✨
Another quick and easy design that can turn up any holiday set. 😝 Sweater nails give you that 3-D effect where the design is somewhat raised above the smooth surface of the nail. You can use lines, hearts, diamond squares, or any pattern you like to achieve!
A few reminders I touched on in this video:
1️⃣ apply at least 2 coats of polish for your base color. This ensures that there is no patches in your color & everything is blended SMOOTH.
2️⃣ remember to lay a matte top coat BEFORE you create your design. This ensures your gel polish (base) is in tact and won’t peel after a weeks wear.
3️⃣ Dust off excess acrylic powder AFTER you cure your design for 60 seconds. Completing this step before curing your final design will cause it to transfer. 🤬
