We've got a super special drop and new tasting from our friends at Blue Run Spirits! That's right, the Blue Run Spirits team sent some surprise sample pours of their new Rye - "Blue Run Emerald Rye". Despite the 116 proof, this rye has a light and crisp taste with a sweet nose a long finish. The only question remains...is it worth the hype? Pour a dram and join us as we try this new rye for the first time and see where it ranks on our list of current and past Blue Run offerings.

Master Distiller Royce Neeley and Bourbon Master Jackie Zykan came together to release the Hidden Barn series. We weren't able to try Batch I, but the reviews seemed to indicate they missed the mark. What's going on whiskey nerds! In case you didn't hear, the Virginia abc is releasing a bunch of barrel picks on Monday October 17th.

TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE ABC WEBSITE:
On October 17, Virginia ABC will release 13 barrel pick products for purchase. These products are exclusive to Virginia.

To make these highly sought products available to as many customers as possible, store purchases will be restricted to one bottle per customer per day for all the available products offered in any location.

The following products will be available for sale at your local ABC store on October 17:
Bulleit Bourbon Single Barrel
Courage & Conviction Single Cask – PX Sherry Finish
Courage & Conviction Single Cask – Bourbon Finish
Elijah Craig Private Barrel – Barrel Proof
Four Roses Private Selection Barrel Strength
George Remus Single Barrel Collection
Heaven’s Door Cask Strength Single Barrel Bourbon
Myers's Single Barrel Select Rum
