Genomics has transformed dairy cattle genetics and makes a deeper impact on the U.S. milk supply with each passing year.

2024 will go down in the record books as the first year that milk shipped was over 4% butterfat every month — even during summer.

From 2011 to 2023, U.S. milk production grew just 16.2%, while protein production expanded by 22.9% and butterfat jumped by 28.9%.
