Theater Scoop popped up in 2021 to help fill the gaps in local performing arts coverage as venues opened back up post-shutdown, and we can't thank you enough for helping us keep a spotlight on local theater groups, music groups, and important issues like gender visibility and consent in the theater. Our friends at the Reno News & Review are once again running reviews and ramping up their performing arts news coverage, so we're going back to our original niche—Nevada visual arts. Reno Little Theater just announced a COVID closure. Here are the deets:

"Bringing high quality theatrical experiences to our community is our mission, but the safety of our artists and audiences comes first - always. Due to a recent uptick in Covid cases in our community (as well as several positive cases within our company) and after careful consideration and conversation with our staff, board, casts, crews, and partners, we have made the decision to close our doors to public audiences for the remainder of the month of January."
