After talking with our outside plant consultant due to the weather he has to postpone the outside upgrades. These upgrades will take place at a later date. We will keep everyone posted when that time comes.

Attention RTU in town customers- Tomorrow May 9th, 2024 RTU will be doing maintenance throughout the town and some blocks the internet will be interfered with for approximately 30 minutes during the update. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause as we upgrade our plant.

RTU will be closed on Thursday Nov. 23rd and Friday Nov. 24th. We will return to regular business hours of 8am-4:30pm on Monday Nov. 27th. Everyone have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

ATTENTION: Part of the project has been postponed to a later date. Some customers will experience very intermittent loss of internet while they continue a different part of the upgrade but the project that was going to take the section of town listed below has been delayed.

Tomorrow Nov. 17th there will be an outage that will last a greater amount of time as we replace a piece of equipment. The map shows everyone that will be affected by the outage tomorrow while this equipment is replaced.

Customers who are on the Lincoln tower we have recently upgraded our tower. We will need to change out your dish for a new one to get on the new system. You will be hearing from someone soon to schedule a time to get your dish replaced or you are able to call in and get on the schedule as well. 319-788-7888

Today is Eric Lage's last day with RTU. Eric has accepted the position of General Manager with Waterloo's new telecommunications utility, Waterloo Fiber. We want to thank Eric for his many years of service to RTU. Please join us in wishing Eric good luck in his new position. We are also excited to announce that Tyler Morgan has accepted the position of interim General Manager at RTU. We look forward to this seamless transition as RTU continues to provide the best broadband service to Reinbeck and the surrounding communities.
