Yesterday, Pat Bad Hand, Jr. (Sicangu Lakota) and his son sang a Lakota song honoring the Sunka Wakan (horse); a song which has not been heard since 1932 that his family recently revived and brought back to the people.
This song was performed at the opening of The Horse Nation of the Oceti Sakowin Exhibit at the Heritage Center at Red Cloud Indian School on September 22, 2016.

This was a Maori Haka dance performance at the Edge Ice Arena in Littleton, Colorado on Saturday, June 25 by the relatives of Oliver "Butch" Mousseau (Oglala Lakota) who was honored by Dawg Nation Hockey. Mousseau is a 2003 Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee who passed away in March, 2016.
