The fourth annual San Diego Italian Film Festival on Oct. 24 will present a double feature combining live music by the Camarada ensemble in concert followed by the film "Enrico IV" directed by Marco Bellocchio at 7pm at the Birch North Park Theatre. Also on the 2nd, South Bark Dog Wash will be kicking off their weeklong 10 year anniversary celebration. The big party will be on Sunday, the 3rd, but the pre-party will be happening at the Walkabout. The crew at South Bark has a week filled with events at the store, culminating on the 10th. Fall Walkabout, Oct. 2nd! Need I say more?...okay, for those of you new to the Walkabouts, they are in South Park from 6pm - 10pm (from around 30th & Juniper down to 30th & Beech, and everywhere in-between).
They are a fun reason to walk about the area (get it?), getting to know your neighbors while browsing through the shops. Many of the stores offer special discounts and/or drinks and appetizers. There is a trolley for those wishing to do less walking and a Walking Tour for those wishing to learn more about the neighborhood.

starts on September 9 and runs through the 11th. The kickoff party
