Michael was a writer at Morbidly Beautiful and Horror Society, writing such series as the Talking With the Dead, Deadly Beauty: Horror's Scream Queens and Rising Talent and the Digital Dismemberment DVD review series. In addition to writing for those websites, Michael has also been published in Body Count Horror Zine, Purgatory Magazine, Chupacabra Magazine, Scars Magazine, ShriekFreak Quarterly,

Dark Discs Magazine, Wicked Karnival Magazine, Coffin Cuties Magazine, Digital Dead Magazine and Gorezone (UK) Magazine. In addition to his writing, Michael has also been an actor, producer and FX artist in the genre, working on 4 feature length films ( The Forever Dead (2007), Z13:The Zombie Within (2008), The Evil Woods (2007) and Mental Scars (2009)) as well as hosting several Halloween parties in the Downtown Raleigh, NC area, he also does horror themed make up photo shoots and promotes horror every chance he gets!
