I can’t express to you guys how excited I am for Episode 5 of Liquid Daybreak already 💘

This mix is just gorgeous. A lot of Atmospheric and Minimal/Deep Tech in this one because I really love those particular Sub-Genres 💞

A lot of the tracks are also just perfect for the February vibe that I am looking for too 🌹

I’m looking forward to recording this one soon ☺️

Happy New Year Everyone 🎆

I hope that you guys enjoyed your holiday! Hopefully, now that that we are all getting back into the normal routine as the holiday season winds down, everyone is healthy & safe, and prepared for 2025.

As you might be able to see from my face, I feel differently. I can’t put my finger on it yet. However, I am looking forward to 2025. I have a better feeling about this year than I did going into 2024.

I will explain some personal details regarding 2024 in another separate post. I know that I do not share any details regarding my personal life on Instagram. I feel compelled to make an exception because this will be in regard to my personal health.

In spite of 2024 attempting to unalive me, I was able to make it out alive and I am here today, frankly speaking, because of competent surgeons and doctors. I am grateful for that. It is emotional to think about let alone talk about. 2024 traumatized me. That’s putting it mildly. However, what got me through everything was my ability to learn to DJ, create, mix, play music, and ultimately, in total I created 13 mixes in 2024. That is 8 of my own mixes, 2 guest mixes, and 3 Episodes of Liquid Daybreak. I played 1 live set and too many open decks sets to recall at the moment ☺️ I played a lot of studio sessions with fellow DJs and friends.

I felt the love, appreciation, and support from people who believed in me when others did not. For that I am extremely thankful for. As for my personal life, there was only 1 person who was consistently there for me throughout every single thing, outside of my family of course, and he knows who he is. I love him infinitely ♾️ and I do appreciate him so much and everything that he does 🩷

Here’s to looking up in 2025 🥲🥂🎧

I hope that everyone is finding their holiday season to be a happy one and that as you reflect upon your year, that you are able to celebrate your accomplishments, learn from your mistakes, and enjoy your successes.

A little encouragement from a 2nd year DJ & artist, in case anyone else needs a little validation, acknowledgment, and love:

Please know that it doesn’t matter where you are in your creative journey and experience, you deserve to acknowledge everything that you’ve have accomplished this year and to be acknowledged for all of your accomplishments, achievements, and your progress this year. That includes giving those acknowledgements to yourself as well because the story that you tell yourself also matters. Please don’t let the intrusive thoughts snowball into catastrophic thinking and anxiety, thereby negatively influencing all of your hard work around you in 2025.

You deserve to feel proud of yourself at every stage when you take a step back and reflect upon your progress every so often, and so much more. Make sure to stay hydrated, humble, healthy, confident, relaxed, and rested.

Go, and give it everything that you’ve got, in moderation in 2025 🫶🏼 You’ve got this ✊🏼
