April is Autism Awareness Month, and it's a time close to our hearts. We want to shine a light on a very special young man, our son, Gabriel, who navigates the world with God's grace and the spark of autism. At 6 years old, Gabriel embodies so much of what we treasure in this life: Faith, love, kindness, compassion, integrity and an inspiring level of perseverance.
In a world that often rushes by, Gabriel teaches us to pause, to appreciate the nuances, and to celebrate diversity in all its forms. He views the world through a lens of wonder, challenging us to see goodness and to act with kindness, just as Jesus teaches us.
This month, as we honor the unique perspectives and contributions of those on the autism spectrum, let's embrace inclusivity, champion understanding, and spread love. Let's remember that each individual's journey is a beautiful, God-given narrative filled with potential and promise.
To our sweet Gabriel, you light up our lives in ways words can barely capture. Your resilience, your joy, and your unending capacity for love are a beacon of hope and a source of immense pride. You, our dear son, are a brilliant star in the vast sky, teaching us the true essence of compassion and the unmeasurable value of seeing the world through your eyes.
P.S. Gabriel is the inspiration behind mommy's apparel line "Rock the Spectrum"

✝️Luke 15:4-7 NKJV✝️
"What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance."
🌺 "Sheep" (probaton): In both Hebrew and Greek culture, sheep are a symbol of people, specifically God's people. They are seen as animals in need of guidance and care.
🌺"Rejoicing" (chairō): This carries a sense of gladness or joy. In the Hebrew mindset, joy is not simply an emotion; it's also an action — something shared and spread within the community.

In this parable, Jesus highlights the worth of every individual to God. The shepherd values each sheep so much that he goes out into the wilderness—a place of uncertainty and danger—to retrieve just one that is lost.
🌷 Practical Living 🌷
🩷 Value of the Individual: Just like the shepherd values each sheep, we should acknowledge the value of every person around us. This mindset will affect how we treat others in our daily interactions.
🩷 God's Pursuit: Reflecting on how the shepherd pursues the lost sheep, we can find joy and comfort in knowing that God actively seeks out those who are lost or have strayed.
🩷 Repentance and Joy: Repentance brings great joy in heaven, reminding us that no matter our past, there is hope for redemption and a celebration upon our return.
🩷 Community Celebration: The shepherd calls for his frien

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
