Elan, Greg, and Rich are 3 lifelong nerds who all come from very different backgrounds. day as we really dig into fandoms that make us who we are. Rich is a long time gamer and musician. From the very first time an NES controller was placed into his hands, a true love of the medium was born. At a young age video games introduced him to his love of storytelling, music, and the satisfaction that comes along with a well thought out plan succeeding. A musician as well, Rich is known to shred the guitar almost as much the (digital) battlefield. Greg is a comic book nerd and novelist. He's dabbled in comic strips, painting, theater, and game design. He has worked for non-profits, scientists, and notably Raleigh's famous 34-year institution, Capitol Comics! He often uses his vast experience to crack oddly specific jokes and to overcomplicate simple concepts. Elan is a film enthusiast, screenwriter, and artist. Her parents loved taking her to the movies and critiquing them. The earliest work being the Harry Potter books, then later, the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Elan and her Mom used to collect the LoTR action figures and build sets for them in front Mordor (their fireplace). Although, she was always interested in all things under the nerdy sun, she didn’t heavily into it and appreciate the continuity until later in life. Now she won’t shut up about it all things MCU, Star Wars, HP, ATLA, LOK, and yodayodayoda 😉(see what I did there?)
