Good Morning Wellness Within Family 🫶

As the holidays approach, I’ve been reflecting on my mental health and the struggles I’ve faced this time of year. For so long, I told myself I was just dealing with “seasonal depression,” something that runs in my family. But recently, I’ve realized it goes much deeper.

Six years ago, I lost someone who meant the world to me—my best friend, my safe space, and the person who always had my back no matter what. The holidays feel different without that kind of unconditional love and support. Since then, I’ve struggled to find a connection that truly feels like home, and it’s weighed heavily on my heart.

As a mom, the guilt hits hard—especially when I’m feeling down or being told I’m not good enough. Navigating that while trying to pour love into your children is one of the hardest things anyone can do. Sometimes, it feels impossible to stay positive when you’re constantly brought down, and the loneliness becomes overwhelming, even in a house full of people.

I’m sharing this because I want to be honest about my journey—about the days when self-love feels out of reach and mental health takes a toll. If you’ve ever felt alone during the holidays or like you’re carrying a weight too heavy to bear, I want you to know you’re not alone. You’re not failing because you’re struggling.

Here at Wellness Within, we believe in being real about life’s challenges. Sometimes it’s messy, and sometimes it’s painful, but through it all, there’s strength in vulnerability and hope in sharing our stories.

To anyone feeling like they’re carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders: I see you, and I’m with you. Let’s keep walking this journey together, one step at a time.

Yes making these with my baby mean so much more than anything else are coming up and I am NOT as prepared as I’d like to be or thought I would be this far in the process, what about all of ypu? Your your holiday shopping/ideas going!?
So also my daughter she’s four really wants like a spa in her room which I actually thought would be adorable with some light up signs, vanity which she has I was gonna redo it paint and lilo and stick it out, then some wall decor, idk tell what what you think 🤔 I’ll put some pictures

Hey yall, getting ready to go to bed🥱
But before that, I wanted to check in with my Wellness Within Fam! How is everyone doing this weekend? It’s been a LoOONNGgggg week and a great holiday weekend, tomorrow is football 🏈 day for the guys, self care day for the ladies, ladies, what are yall going to do for self care tomorrow?
*List some things tonight so you have an idea before tomorrow and can’t think of anything right away!!!
*Taking a nice warm bath 🛀 and putting on a face mask, doing your nails.
*can be as quick as five min if that’s all you have….paint your toe nails, then fingernails.
*write in your journal for atleast 5 minutes
*put your calendar together and write everything down!

girllll I got it, clearly means girl I’m going to forget in ten seconds….. and then remember at the very last second! lol mom brain what can I say oh that and I’m exhausted because I swear I spend atleast 10 hours a day organically trying to market my business and this is some hard work, I’m literally over here posting, engaging, on so many networks, just to get my brand out their but I just want to gain meaningful lasting relationships and get to know my community and customers better. So I thought I’d start by sharing something I used to do as a child, that I do with my children that brings such HAPPINESS to my heart 💖 driving around near Christmas 👀🎄💡🏠📏 (looking at all the Christmas lights in people’s front yards)🤷‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ lol and so that was really nice what do you do now that you used to do as kids, that still brings you happiness?
