Located on East Prospect Road, just south of Fayetteville, TN, this family farm grows such beautiful produce and does free home delivery (within 35 miles). Check out this box of delicious goodies AND I didn’t have to get two babies out the door!

Attention all parents!! This is a must for new parents fighting with those blasted car seats, trying to read the manuals that are written in pig Latin! Get your precious one’s car seat professionally installed on August 6th from 10-2 at the Pulaski Parks and Recreation Department!

We are excited to announce that the Giles County Sheriff Department will be providing free car seat checks at the Mommas, Munchkins, & Milk Expo 2022! If you have a little one in any type of car seat or are expecting a new baby soon, feel free to pull up in front of the rec center from 10am-2pm and their certified car seat techs will make sure your seat is the right one for your child, installed properly, and being used correctly!

This is for all the local mamas, no matter how old or young your babies are! The Breastfeeding Support Group of Pulaski, TN is hosting Mommas Munchkins & Milk next Saturday (8/6). This is a FREE event with lunch, vendors, and speakers! Whether you are breastfeeding or not, this event is a great way to meet other mamas and celebrate motherhood!

WEEKEND ROUNDUP | This Saturday, the Giles County Public Library & Pulaski Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a movie in the park & some amazing STEM activities, as well as JWST First Images. It begins at 6:00 and lasts until 9:30!

If you are unfamiliar with JWST, fear not (I was too!). JWST stands for James Webb Space Telescope. These images’s color and detail is unfathomable. In addition to the showing of the images & movie, there will be activities for kids to participate in beforehand! Food Trucks, including Kona Ice, will be parked, so make a day of it!

In addition, there will be two farmers markets tomorrow: Pulaski & Lynnville,. The Martin Movie Theater will be showing “Thor: Love & Thunder” for the final weekend at 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM. The Sunday matinee starts at 2:00 PM.

Our hearts are so incredibly heavy this morning. We lost the most precious member of our K218 family. Destinee was the biggest ray of sunshine and we felt so privileged to have her here. We are all so lucky to have known her and had the opportunity to work with her. We ask that you keep her family in your prayers and help support them in any way that you are able. ❤️

Tomorrow morning, the Community RFD -Rural Food Delivery- will be having a pop-up food drive. The drive will begin at 8:00 am until the food runs out! RFD will be handing out boxes at the Old Sharp Motor Building (216 N First Street, Pulaski).

The RFD is looking for volunteers to not only help distribute food, but pack boxes, sort deliveries, and more!

Ever just need a reset? A week (or two) where you have to just unplug and enjoy your babies & family? Well, apparently, that’s just what the doctor ordered! We helped friends move, went to the park, and ate lots of watermelon 🍉 but, I’m back with lots of content!! A huge shoutout to Giles County & Pulaski for these changing tables! And an extra “thank you!” to Chrissy Beasley Hood for raising awareness for the dire need for these tables! They not only accommodate babies but also children, teens, and adults!

For anyone who has families members with disabilities, these are important landmarks!

The first changing table is located at the Pulaski Parks and Recreation Department. They have a newly renovated family restroom!

The second changing table (image with green flooring) is located at the Giles County Courthouse Annex.

The purpose of Hometown Giles is to be a resource for local parents and the community. I found myself working too hard to stay up-to-date on all the happenings in Giles County!
