If you'd like to hear it // a zine about Aging A traditional cut-and-paste zine focused on the negotiation of an aging body and a “forgetful” self in an unaccommodating world.

Originally started in wonderful Berkeley, CA, this zine is focused on the negotiation of an aging body and a “forgetful” self in an unaccommodating world, as well as accounts of chronic illness and the end-of-life experiences of an aging self. We are actively seeking writings, photos, and artwork from folks in all of life’s ages and stages. This work is centered on intellectual/emotional criticism

s and personal experiences of aging, illness, and death from caregivers, patients, and advocates. We are exploring the radical sociologies of aging, caregiving, and aging advocacy through personal experiences, politic, and academic thought. The notion is simple: to provide a space for those struggling, thriving, or simply getting by to enter and co-create a conversation about their experiences. Our goal is to build a dialogue around the experiences of aging, illness, and death from all perspectives- striving to affirm the variations of one another and to reach a more comprehensive understanding of what it means to be «human».
