The Summer Solstice celebration was such a dream. It’s always been my intention to interweave meditation and sound healing with dancing and partying and this was the perfect place to try it out. Yooo I’m just calling quick to say damn this year is flying by, happy May homies. Lots of cool things on the calendar this month. I’m playing a show on the 14th, making my first trip to Philly on the 18th thanks to and ending the month out playing two sets . The first festival I ever attended was in 2019 at Camp Timber Trails. This was also the first time I ever heard electronic music live and at that festival i decided I wanted to produce meditative sacred bass that moves people. Fast forward to Memorial Day of 2022 and I’m on a festival lineup at this same spot. Shoutout to for the opportunity to play . So stoked to be apart of this with a ton of homies. I got my start in creativity back in 2011 while I was attending Bridgewater State. Big thanks to my dawgs and Behtash for taking me in as an intern on the Art of Hip-Hop. We had a dope radio show every Saturday and it was my start to DJing curating a playlist for the show. I also even tried rapping at the time. A lot of my inspiration comes from hip-hop. The ability to express and paint pictures with words. You’ll hear this inspiration in my sound. Tapping into my roots dropping a hip-hop inspired bass track tomorrow, One Love.

This is a picture of me with my first DJ board, a Traktor S2. Truth be told I owned it for probably a year before I even touched it and the only reason I even got it was because we were throwing hip hop shows with Elevated Euphoria and it was easier to buy a controller then it was to find a DJ with a fire song selection at the time. Little did I know how impactful this device would be on my life. DJing became an avenue for self expression, using music as a tool to move people and create space for them to connect. And now almost 7 years later I’m DJing with music I produced myself 🤯 definitely couldn’t have predicted this when I started. I’m dropping my next track One Love on 11/11. Tapping in to my hip-hop roots and flipping an old Nas classic. Second slide is the artwork, I tried to do my best illmatic impersonation.

What a week it was! I dropped my first track ever on 10/16 and received over 2,000 plays in the first week. I joined the collective and opened for in Providence on 10/22 . After years of experimenting and trying so many different outlets of creativity I have finally landed on the thing I want to do. Creating meditative sacred bass that moves people and creates environments of inclusivity and love. Thank you all so much for all the love lately, now that I am honed in on where I’m going this is truly only the beginning of what is to come. 🚀🚀🚀
