You know what I love? Women that are confident that their own light is shining even when another woman's light might be outshining her own in the moment.

Whew...I said it! In this life is hard enough to find our way out of the darkness! We do not need to let someone else dull our sparkle, but we don't always need to outshine others.

In fact, being comfortable with yourself takes work. Hard work. It means letting go of envy and comparison. Gosh do I live in that "Comparison" fear space....a lot!

That stupid tiny voice in my head telling me that I am not good enough...smart enough, thin enough....pretty enough......N.O.T. ENOUGH!!

If you are still reading this, I want you to put a in the comments below. Remember when snack milk was just a quarter per week? I used to save up my allowance to help a girl out in my class that had less money than my family. And believe me....we were country poor, so I can only imagine what this amazingly sweet spirit went without.

She was teased by the other kids for having outdated hand-me-down clothes. But she always made me feel special. Like I belonged. Like I was loved. 25 cents didn't feel like payment enough for her.

Years after we graduated from school and started our adult lives she reached out to me to let me know how much that milk money meant to her. That there were days that was the only thing that resembled something to eat for her. I had no idea how bad their family had it because she wasn't going to tell.

I know in my heart that it was a small thing, but here she was making me feel big again. Lifting me up after all of those years.

Man...I want to be just like her when I grow up.

How has all the 2020 craziness affected your lifestyle? Are you eating healthy and exercising? Or are you livin' your best life with food and Netflix, because...why not? Maybe these changes in activities and socialization have you eating your feelings (guilty!)....Or did you see this as the perfect time to make a better effort on your health, because you aren't out and about as much as before? Hey, no judgment from us!! We GET IT!

We've probably all been on every possible variation of the 2020 meal plan! BUT keeping a healthy balance of all the good stuff and the healthy stuff is key to coming out the other side of this thing in a good place. Both physically, and mentally! (Major props to the rockstar who thinks that the good stuff IS the healthy stuff!!) If you realize you've been livin' it up a little too much, IT'S OKAY! Don't beat yourself up, it's been a crazy year!

Many of us are "stuck" right now. Stuck at home, stuck in the middle of pro-masks or anti-masks, stuck without a job, or stuck in the middle of a hard decision. Are you trying to decide whether to send you children to school, or to utilize virtual learning? We don't have all the answers, but we can certainly relate. Hey Guys!! We are S to the O to the RRY!!

We haven't meant to ignore you! It sure feels a bit slimy that we started this HUH-mazing page...started to ROCK-N-Roll...then after the show, stopped producing new music.

Or in terms of this page...we were starting to see our community grow...then we kinda ghosted ya!

Not on purpose, but mostly because we were busy with our families, our jobs, church callings....and well.....

Playground rules no longer apply! That's right! It is time to remember that not everyone gets to WIN! This was a tough rule for me to learn to get rid of!!!!

My sister-in-law reminded me that if "EVERYONE IS SPECIAL, NO ONE IS!!! "

If we are trying to please everyone, we are missing the opportunity to let them achieve GREATNESS! Losing Makes Winners! Fail Forward.

Great Parents-Great Teachers-Great Leaders are not the kids that everyone gets along with. They are the kids that everyone on the playground respects because they know how to:
