een singing his songs for decades. It was a desire of Robert (Bob) Brumley to keep alive the songs of his father. Even though Bob is no longer with us, the family still operates the company offices built in the 1940's in Powell, Missouri. We are now in the 3rd generation of the family business going on 100 years. Bob's 2 daughters Elaine and Betsy are excited to keep Brumley Music and their Grandpa Brumley's amazing legacy going on and thriving.

The Grammys are on tonight! Back in 2020 the Chuck Wagon Gang's version of I'll Fly Away from 1948 was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Good luck to all those nominated for awards this year!

On December 17, 2012, Arkansas Representative Steve Womack honored the 80th Anniversary of I'll Fly Away being published on the House Floor.

In 1987, State Route E through McDonald County was renamed Albert E. Brumley Parkway! The signs went up shortly after the ceremony, but there was a snafu in the paperwork that wasn't corrected until 2006. These wooded signs were removed and new state signs were added at that time.

In January of 1962, Albert E. Brumley sat down for an interview with Gene Bartlett, the son of E.M. Bartlett. In this part of the interview Albert talks about the first time he met E.M. Bartlett.
