I love full pots of trailing plants!

Scindapsus silver splash 🪴 It features mottled silvery green leaves and a leathery texture. This pot had a few strands of Scindapsus exotica that I cut out of it. I found that to be a trend in some posts that I’ve seen on Facebook.

Plant tips: This plant likes humidity more than I thought. Without humidity, the leaves will really curl into themselves which is similar to the way it looks when it is thirsty.

I was initially against chopping down our own Christmas tree 🎄 year after year. It felt exploitative to the environment, and I felt badly every time when one would fall down in front of us at our own hands.

After some research, I learned that this is a more considerate way of helping the environment, by not introducing all of the plastic and labor and transportation that is needed to create fake Christmas trees. Who knew? (Shout out to who taught me this!)

So I will entertain my sweet husband who loves Christmas more than any other holiday and go with him to chop down our prized Christmas tree every year.

Jadu (which means plum in Korean) is a bit sleepy after her Thanksgiving festivities, but her parents can’t sleep! They are choosing out a Christmas tree 🎄 this morning!

Ficus triangularis! I love having this large tree in my home. In my experience, it does not like to be moved or change environments. I did that once, and all of its leaves fell off! It was very unhappy with me until I moved it back to its spot.

It likes to have strong, indirect light. Often times when it is happy, it sprouts little inedible figs. I love seeing its baby leaves grow larger as the days go by.
