Sometimes I don’t have faith in myself. This year is going to be different. I have so much faith in my abilities that I will be absolutely crushed if this year isn’t my year to shine. Normally I would shy away from doing things in fear of failing and breaking my own heart. Tearing myself apart for failing. Things have to be different. I didn’t realize I was slowly breaking my own heart by NOT Trying. I was crumbling from within. Expecting things to be different but frozen in time… just waiting.

Celebrate those small wins! Big wins are made up of a lot of small wins; sometimes we look back at small wins in the big picture and they are actually puzzle pieces that built a massive win.

A $5 sale here and there that leads to $100 here and there. Next thing you know you are filing your taxes and entering total income as $75k

Some people lose themselves in motherhood and I completely understand why. It’s seemingly impossible to work full time, maintain a marriage, and raise a kid- let alone afford raising kids. I didn’t lose myself in motherhood; I found myself. It’s what I’ve always wanted to do. I take my little one everywhere with me and would choose spending time with her over anything else. I feel like I shine when I am able to just be a mom. I’d have 3-4 more if I could That doesn’t mean I haven’t lost myself. Instead I’ve lost myself in the struggles of marriage, in trying to do everything, but most of all I’m working a 9-5 that I despise. I don’t have the option to not work and just be a mom I don’t really want that option either, I like contributing financially to my family and the world At the same time I am strapped to a job that in this economy barely provides enough to keep us afloat, while also being impossible to replace due to the ability to work from home, the benefits, and the wages I work 45-55 hours a week and am constantly telling my daughter that “I can’t” because I have to work. I’m actually looking forward to kindergarten Not because I’ll have more time, but because when she IS home I won’t have to constantly be telling her that I can’t spend time with her.
