It implies that if you are unaware of something, you should not be concerned about it – or, more accurately, disregard it. 

But isn't that what led us here in the first place – high tensions and individuals "having to dig in" on one side of an issue without considering all viewpoints?

Isn't it true that ignorance is a contributing factor?

Even when it comes to proper education for our children? Is "Ignorance bliss," true then!

This quote is an idiom, and is not supposed to be taken literally, but its actually a poison to our community?

Ignorance is not bliss its ignorance!
