Wanted: a good-looking, EMPTY (as if for a rental or sale) house in the PC or PG area, for a one-day/evening music video shoot. (We will be putting a couch and a few things in it, then taking them back out, so it appears both lived in AND vacant).

We’ll leave it the way it is and you can include its presence in the video as a selling point. 😊

Great shoot with Jason Brownie and the Highway 17 Band at the Neon Moon Saloon in Arcadia last night. A great show, some great songs, and we got some great footage. It also was the first use of “Sunny,” aka The Beast: 10 cylinders of Detroit toughness and a hydraulic lift that made all the difference hauling gear.

A couple more nights of shooting some dramatic scenes and we can put a bow on this project!

Quite a night for the MIP crew. We got to meet one of the greatest cinematographers of all time, Sir Roger Deakins & his lovely wife James Ellis, a formidable film professional in her own right. They signed copies of his book of photographs and discussed his work behind the lens on films like 1917, Fargo, No Country for Old Men, Sicario, O Brother Where Art Thou, the Big Lebowski, 1984, and so many more. Then he introduced a special screening on the giant LED wall of The Shawshank Redemption, a personal fave and utter masterpiece of a film (which he also shot).

Just an incredible night of inspirational, creative energy. A huge thank you the Deakinses, the great crowd, and Coastal Creative of St Pete for organizing such an incredible event.

How inspiring. Let’s go film something!!!!
