An open letter to the people that have read 'The Fairy Trap' and to the people that haven't...

Yet -

I've become aware while reading the comments made concerning my book, that a vast majority of, shall we say, 'more seasoned' people have noticed a message within the verses of 'The Fairy Trap'. Although there have been subtle variations in interpretation, that message still rings clear: '...never abandon your inner child...'

In each story that I have written ( yes, there are indeed more to come! ) a message, I hope, will be brought to your attention. That message may, and probably will, mean something a little different to each and every one of you; how perfect, we are all so fortunately unique.

My faith in humanity tells me that there are values still in place in our lives, but there is a need for a simple, gentle reminder of them; a delicate prodding to recall the wonder of being a child and to realize the opportunity to share their imagination and experiences through these books.

With any luck, we can awaken the childlike virtues that lie quietly within all of us... there is truly no reason for tucking them away!

Rick...what a great book for children and adults. I sat here in a comfy recliner chair and read the story out loud, imagining my two granddaughters, when they were little. sitting with me. I can imagine the wheels turning in their little heads thinking about asking Daddy to make them a Fairy Trap. The story and expressive drawings made my heart lighter and I thank you for that.

I will mail the books to my 2 brothers, my son, my sister-in-law and to a smart and loveable almost three-year old boy, the grandson of a good friend and neighbor in Northern Minnesota. Owen will absolutely love this story and I am sure will ask Grampy to build him a Fairy Trap! 😁😁😁😁😁😁
