This documentary is the heroic journey of Chris ‘Champ” Napier, from his struggles as a child growing up in Prichard, Alabama, and his ending up in jail for murder. With little hope, he persevered and committed to turning his life around with the help of religion.
Finally granted parole thirteen years later, he has continued this commitment to help others who have fallen into the trap of poverty and hopelessness. Champ was the first person in the state of Alabama to be pardoned for murder. He is now an advocate for the public defender’s office, becoming a liaison between the accused and the lawyers.
This is an uplifting story about Champs’ rise from being in Jailed for life to a successful career helping others to let them know they are not prisoners of the system, but of their own mindset.
Champ will be available to speak with and autographs his two books.
See you there...
