I am really happy to share the good news that my family and I are setting up a scholarship to be given once a year of a minumum of $500 in memory of my father, Eric Pirchesky. It will be awarded to the boy scout who catches the largest bass every year at the Heritage Reservation . I am actually crying as I type this. Some of the fondest and best memories I have of my father and are with the Boy Scouts and particularly at the Boy Scout Camp and our Father and Son Fishing Weekend Competitions. The picture below is of my grandfather Robert Pirchesky who raised funds every year to help stock the lake with fish at camp Heritage. Both my grandfather and my father and I are all Eagle Scouts. Scouting is a wonderful thing!! The name of the scholarship will be "The Robert and Eric Large Mouth Bass Award".
