PIE - Pittsburgh Indie Expo (formerly PIX: Pittsburgh Indy Comics Expo) - Celebrating creator-owned, self-published, small-press, and handmade comics in Pittsburgh & beyond! On Sunday, April 9, 2017 The ToonSeum will present the sixth Pittsburgh Independent Comics Expo (PIX), Pittsburgh’s annual exposition devoted to creator-owned, self-published, small-press, and handmade comics. An important cha

nge to note is that PIX will be moving to a NEW LOCATION – actually locations – in 2017: The August Wilson Center located at 980 Liberty Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh will be the setting of the exhibition component of PIX, while programs will be held at The ToonSeum, located directly across the street at 945 Liberty Ave. At the August Wilson Center, attendees will have the opportunity to survey and sample a wide variety of independently produced and published, creator-owned works produced by the far ranging talents of the comics artists and cartoonists currently flourishing in the tri-state area and beyond. Across the street, The Toonseum will be concurrently hosting the programming – consisting of artist presentations, creator panels, and more!
