Short version: After 4 days of waiting, I find out that to pay off the car I need an additional $1000 over the balance of my loan! The total is $6400 (approximately) plus whatever the tow yard fees will be.. https://gofund.me/1ed65be9

Long version: I finally got my information but it was hell getting it. They still didn't have anything ready by 11am today! I was told it would ready by Tuesday afternoon. It took 2 extra days to get it to me. Then I hear they have 72 hours not 48, which makes a huge difference! After explaining (AGAIN) why I'm frustrated about this whole situation, I magically seem to get my information.

Its going be $6400 to pay off the car in full and get my title. It's about $2900 to reduce pay off the "overdue" balance. The Repo fees wind up being $900 and I still don't know if I have additional fees from the tow yard.

I'm making arrangements to figure out how to get my car back, but more importantly get rid of this loan and get the title into my hands. BUT any donations to this GoFundMe will help with that full $6400 repayment amount. So if you have some to spare, I'd love the additional help.

Again, I'm so thankful and appreciative to everyone that's helped out so far.

Short version: My car got repossessed without warning for a second time after I was making regular payments. I don't know where the car is because the Citizens One Recovery Department is closed till Monday. I will most definitely need help getting it back. https://gofund.me/1ed65be9

Hi everyone, as I was trying to get to my dojo this afternoon, I found my car to be missing from my parking lot. After calling 9-1-1, I was informed it was repossessed by the lender. The Citizens One recovery department is closed on Saturdays. This was an issue I contended with back in 2021 when they misinformed about a lot of things during the pandemic. They took my car to Altoona that time and because the Recovery Department is closed I have no idea where my car is. I'm panicked and scared and not sure what to do. My guess is they want me to pay it off in full to get my car back. Here's the crazy part: I was told that they wouldn't do this again since my account was in Recovery and there was no time limit to pay it off. I was making regular payments on it too and there wasn't a huge amount on it left. I actually sent a check in a few weeks ago. There was no warning about about repossession both times.

I'm stuck and I need your help. This go fund me was all I could think of do to help pay this thing off. This is really hard because I didn't want to actually set one these up because there's a lot of other people that need this service more than me, but this is all I can think of right now. Thanks for your time.

I'm getting back to doing some Freelance design, but I'm approaching things a little differently than when I was pursuing this as a full time venture, while I was also touring full time. My frustrations with freelance revolved around getting paid. People would sign contracts and agreements, but then argue with when it came time to actually pay me. I wasn't trying to make billion dollars, just enough to live. I was really inexpensive, because it was just me and I lived a hyper minimalist lifestyle...I was basically living out of my car for about a decade. I had so many agruments with people about what I'm charging them, even though if they went to a different freelancer or an agency, they'd be charged a significant amount more. I'm also horrible at charging my friends for anything I do. I feel guilty and weird.

This constant battle of money is the bane of my existence and burnt me out. This led to ending really cool and potentially fun projects and having to cut ties with those people. So eventually I reduced my freelancing and focused only on touring full time. I only took projects from a few select people that I knew would actually value what I'm doing for them. But I still have that creative itch and I'd like to have fun with it again.

This time around, I'm not taking on too many projects. I'll probably only take on 1-2 projects at a time. This means I'm going be really selective about what projects I want to take. I'm only taking on projects from people I trust and ones I know I'd have fun working on. This way I can do my creative work and have fun with it but also be a balanced person. I’m not really interested in the “hustle” of pursuing creativity as a profession. I just want to create cool s**t.

I'm also not going to have a formal billing procedure. I'm tired of chasing people for my money. Instead I'm going to be approaching a Pay What You Want/Donation model. I expect nothing, but will be thankful for anything. This way some of the smaller clients or individuals looking to grow their business or art or what have you don't have to worry about being priced out either.

So you can check out little portfolio and please email me if you're looking for some Design work.

Graphic Designer. Comedian. Writer.
