Big moment in the camp yesterday - their debut ep is officially done!

We did the works on this ep - countless rounds of pre-production to solidify the identity of the project as it was formed somewhat behind the scenes. Lots of pivoting around my touring schedule & the band’s availability to travel from Columbus to Pittsburgh. Hell, Dalton & I would take entire sessions, sit out in the sun & write lyrics all day specifically to be in different headspace’s.

The work was truly never done until yesterday. Even that feels weird to say because I’m sure we all agree that we could continue to critique & try to make this body of work even better. That’s what I love about Lün, our desire to create, the hungry we all feel inside, is a perfect match. I’ll tell you what though, growth is about knowing when something is complete rather than tinkering with it aimlessly. There was always an insane amount of integrity in this project & I hope their spirit resonates in my space for years to come.

If you can’t tell, I am elated to finally be here, living in this moment we all worked so hard to get to. I usually try to say less online but these dudes & this project deserve a write up.

I’ve been itching to share more of the work coming out of Saltbloom but always struggle deciding between what’s genuine & what’s just for attention… I’m very stoked on how these guitars came out after hard tracking this cover!
