@thebreakfastspotpgh is one of my favorite breakfast places in the burgh because they have so many unique & fun options. I got to try a few of their new menu items and I am telling you all GO TRY THEM. 🤤
🍪 COOKIE BUTTER PANCAKES: these were heavenly. If you’re a fan of cookie butter and biscotti, order these.
🥞 PANCAKE SLIDERS: your choice of 3 pancakes in mini slider form! Pictured are the peach cobbler, strawberry crunch, and fruity pebbles pancakes.
🥞 PANCAKE POCKET: a pancake with grits, eggs, your choice of meat, and cheese in the MIDDLE. This was my favorite!
🍤 SHRIMP & GRITS: super tasty with a honey garlic sauce
🍳 PHILLY CHEESESTEAK OMLETTE: great quality steak and super hearty!
🐓 FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH: served with a side of ranch of course

@largeplainpizzaandpints invited me back for another great meal, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on their wings again! The Louisiana Purchase wings are my favorite by far (gold bbq & Cajun). On Wednesdays, they have all you can eat wings for $15.99! Um, yes please!
While you’re there you can’t go wrong with their hoagies (on Breadworks hoagie rolls), cheesy bread, and specialty pizzas.
⭐️ Super close to Ross Park Mall. Check them out next time you’re up that way.

My fam and I had a great experience yesterday at @cucinavitalepgh 🍝 they invited me out to their brand new location in Greentree! I never got to experience the South Side location, but I’m really excited to have this spot nearby!
Every single thing pictured was delicious, but the mozzarella pomodoro stole the show. They make their mozzarella in house, and it tastes so fresh & heavenly. I absolutely loved my chicken Milanese dish too. I was so FULL.

First stop: @linsasian 🥡🥢🥠
This is our go to for Chinese food in the South Side. We love their combination plates and boba tea. Combo plates L4 & L9 are the go-to’s.
Second stop: Three Rivers Heritage Trail
This trail runs along the rivers in Pittsburgh, but you can find several access points along East and West Carson Street. My favorite city views are near Station Square and behind the Riverhounds Stadium.
I know it’s cold now, but save this for the next time it gets warmer. I promise it’s such a nice chill night out with all the good vibes.

Ummmm hello @curry.mouth 👋🏼 and welcome to Pittsburgh. What an awesome way to kick off the New Year! Curry Mouth is serving up authentic Trinidadian cuisine, and they just found themselves a new regular (hello, it’s me).
From the doubles to the curry, our meal was full of vibrant flavors. The sweet tamarind sauce will be on my mind for days to come. This entire meal has been on my mind for days.
I’m telling you right now you need to try everything on their menu. I’m not even going to list it out, just try everything. You’re welcome. 😂

Last year, I made a huge list of almost 40 of my favorite bites in and around Pittsburgh. This year, I decided to narrow things down a bit and give you my TOP 10 of 2024. These were bites that all blew my mind and stayed on my mind throughout the year.

3️⃣ Cilanto & Ajo (@cilantro.ajo) - Cachapa, Sweet Corn Pancake with Venezuelan Cheese
4️⃣ Curbside on the Run (@curbside_ontherun) - The Vampire Slayer, the perfect sweet and salty breakfast sandwich
5️⃣ Saigon 88 Express (find them on FB) - every sushi roll I have tried from them this year blew my mind. They are my new go to for all sushi because their fish is the highest quality
6️⃣ Seoul Korean BBQ - Bibimbap
7️⃣ Neff Haus (@neffhausharmony) - Strawberry Pretzel Salad Cloud, all of their ice cream creations are just phenomenal
8️⃣ Dagny’s Eatery (@dagnys_eatery) - Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake, I’ll be honest any cheesecake from Dagny always blows my mind, and I don’t even like cheesecake…but hers made the Top 10, go figure!
9️⃣ Sumi’s Cakery (@sumiscakery) - Garlic Cream Cheese Bun, this one changed my tastebuds.
