There’s no question that @vivalavidapgh is one of the most unique Mexican restaurants in Pittsburgh. If you haven’t checked this new spot out yet, GO! It’s definitely one of my top fav restaurants in 2024 (you heard it here first).

Had a lovely dinner with my mom last Friday at @scratchco_pgh over in Troy Hill. This was my first time dining here, and I can’t wait to go back to try their Sunday brunch.
This dinner menu is available on Friday and Saturday evenings, and their tavern menu is available Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
Check out their menus on their website. Everything was so delicious (but the meatloaf was the absolute winner of the evening).

Tastebuds is a unique tasting event that happens once every December at the Convention Center. This event supports program funding for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and provides opportunities for them to feel more connected within their communities.
It was so incredible to be in a room with some of Pittsburgh’s most talented chefs and their buddies. They all ROCKED IT with their signature dishes. (I think I ate almost 20 of them, and I was stuffed). I even got to hang out with the most lovely emcee of the evening, @theheatherabraham 🫶🏼
This event was absolutely AMAZING, and I highly encourage you to go next year if you are able to. Save this so you remember!
It was an HONOR to partner with Best Buddies (@bestbuddies.pgh) to showcase this event. I hope to so so for years to come!

WOW, what a morning! You guys showed UP for our toy drive at Curbside. My Bronco wasn’t ready for all of your generosity!!! I loved getting to meet everyone 🫶🏼🥹 you all made my entire month!
We stayed warm with some incredible breakfast sandwiches from Curbside, and then I obviously had to counteract that with one of their fancy specialty iced lattes. They have THE best stuff here at Curbside!
THANK YOU to everyone who came out and donated toys. Shults Ford will be matching all of your donations for Toys for Tots. And one final thank you to Kylee and her amazing team at Curbside. I can never say enough great things about this place. They deserve all of the recognition and more. Visit them whenever you have the opportunity.

When I’m craving a comforting breakfast on the North Side, @wisecountybiscuits is THE spot. Their biscuits and gravy is one of the best I’ve tried in the city. I love their 2 eggs breakfast with a side biscuit (with a side of honey of course).
You gotta grab said of their breakfast potatoes too. This is the perfect comforting breakfast for a cold morning like today.

Beginning November 29th, you can step into this winter wonderland with your friends & family at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden! This walkthrough is about 1.25 miles long (and it was even better than I remembered last year).
They have hot cocoa and cider for the kids (and spiked bevvies for adults 😆). Snacks will be available too! This event begins November 29th and will last until December 31st.

@pghzoo has done it again with this stunning display of over ONE MILLION twinkling holiday lights and lanterns. I was so lucky enough to be invited to this gorgeous display, and I can’t wait to visit again (when they bring the reindeer❕🦌).
Not only do they have the most stunning light and lantern display, but they even have some great cocktails, dinner items, and desserts at various spots near Jamba Grill.
‼️Note: most of these food and drink items are available on weekends only‼️
This event is similar to the lantern festival last year but with a fun holiday twist. You might even get lucky to see some animals out (we saw some sea lions and red pandas), but just know that isn’t a guarantee.
This event is going on during select days throughout January 12th. To see all of the available dates, you can visit the Zoo’s website for more details and purchase your tickets. Highly recommend this one - it put me in the holiday spirit! 🎄✨
