I started this page and the online magazine at http://www.tri-statemagazine.com in May of 2011, with the vision and hopes to help the Pittsburgh Tri-State area and all the small towns and communities by featuring and providing positive stories from around the area, offering help and support to small business owners, promoting charities, and really showcasing and supporting the people more then anything who were doing good things but that were not being recognized for them.
I really wanted to use this platform to provide hope and as a way to teach our young that yes, you can do things and succeed in life and that their were people who are there to recognize, support, and appreciate you while shining a spotlight of hope on you, and propping you up when you deserve to be recognized and that you don't have to be a celebrity, or the most popular person in the world to know that you are appreciated or that you do matter and that all your efforts are not unseen or noticed.
I've had some very nice and much appreciated support over these few years from some really nice people like my wonderful girlfriend Rose Singson Millan, Lori Morrison Jones, and Annette Dashofy, as well as most recently from Andy Verner, and i wanted to take this time to really thank you all for the support and contributions that you have given and offered to me and also towards the Tri-State Area Outreach Magazine and the overall vision that was seen through the efforts to make it a success.
I also want to thank those of you who DID in fact support this effort and actually read some stories or visited the website, i can't thank you enough for your support.
I've come to realize that this effort is nor will ever be a success due to the lack of support of people, and contributors and i'm just so burnt out to be honest in trying to do this alone, or nearly alone. I'm just not able to do all of this myself anymore. It's too much for one person to do!
In the light of realizing that people are too busy with their own lives and not able to, or not willing to help or contribute and realizing the failure to this effort, I will be closing this page and also taking the Tri-State Area Outreach Magazine offline by the end of this week.
To those of you who have been there, thank you and God Bless each and every one of you.
