Join the South West Regional Chamber of Commerce for our 5th Annual Excellence Awards on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 at The Chartiers Room in Bridgeville. It’s the chamber’s biggest evening of the event of the year and we will be giving awards in over 40 categories to members of the South West Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Happy National Self-Care Day!

Today is the perfect reminder to prioritize YOU!
Self-care comes in many forms, and it's all about making choices that support your overall well-being.

Take a walk and breathe in the fresh summer air. Watch the sunset. Nature has a way of healing us from the inside out.

Nourish your body with healthy foods. Think of eating well as an act of love towards yourself.

Take time for yourself, whether that's through meditation, reading, or simply enjoying some time alone, or with a friend over coffee. You deserve it!

If you're in a bad relationship or toxic workplace, remember that walking away is a VERY powerful form of self-care. Only surround yourself with positivity and people who uplift you and bring you joy. Don't let anyone steal your joy!

My preferred way of self care is to tidy my house because that always makes me feel better, do some gardening, or walk bare foot in the grass to ground myself. My daughter likes to get her nails done.

There's no ONE way or RIGHT way for self care, we are all individuals with our own special needs - the key is to be OK with putting ourselves first sometimes and when we feel depleted to recognise that and our into ourselves.

💒Every person who has been married for any length of time to the same person will agree with the following:
💯 Marriage is wonderful, however; it's not always pretty. That part about richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, are in the vows for a reason!
💍 It's "Happily Married Week."
If your spouse is everything, works extremely hard, has been with you through triumphs and tragedies, loves you when you're at your best and worst, who you're proud to be married to, then celebrate! 💃🕺
😭 But, for some of us that is not the fairytale we had dreamed of or worked so hard at.
