Alright. It’s been FOREVER since I posted anything here. Just an update on what I’ve been up to. Last year was a very difficult one for me. But 2024 has been busy. I’m finally doing the retirement traveling that I dreamed about for years. Many vacations, and many more to come. As far as gaming goes, I’m still playing games. It’s an outlet that I definitely need. Most of my gaming time for the past year has been spent playing GTA RP in The Academy Roleplay (TARP) server. I am not able to live stream in that server because they only accept approved streamers. Trust me… this is a good thing for that server. Huge reputation to uphold. I had quit COD for a few months, but started playing again at the beginning of the current season. As far as streaming goes, I will never say never. What I do know, though, is that it will most likely not be here on Facebook. There is zero real opportunity for growth here. It will definitely not be on Kick either for reasons I have stated in the past. That leaves YouTube, TikTok and Twitch… and more than likely will be Twitch. Just not sure that I even want to invest my time and energy in streaming right now. I don’t watch as many livestreams as I used to either. If I do, I watch Officer Messer (owner of TARP) or any of the other TARP streamers on Twitch. If I do return to streaming one day, it will most likely be playing COD or another FPS game, unless I could miraculously become an approved streamer for TARP. Hope everyone is doing well, and if and when I return to streaming, all of you amazing people will be the first I inform! If you love good RP, you have to check out the TARP streamers! Absolutely amazing community! Now, in the comments, tell me what yinzers have been up to! I really wanna know!

Hey Nursing Home peeps. Another rough day for my family. Our beloved Annabelle crossed the Rainbow Bridge earlier today. She lived an amazing 19 years and 8 months. She is the last to move on of our fur babies. She was truly a mommy’s girl. And we will be bonded for eternity. I miss you so much already, baby girl. She was the princess of the family. She is now running and playing free of pain with her brothers.

It’s been a rough 15 months of loss. Losing 4 pets in such a short amount of time is so hard. But as I look back across the past 20 years, there is so much to smile about. They brought so much joy to our lives. Sooo much joy. I will smile through the tears as I remember that joy.

I know I haven’t been streaming or posting much of anything lately, and for that, I am sorry. Losing 3 out of 4 of my very senior pets has really started to take a toll on me. Sadness rules my days. And on top of that, I haven’t been feeling well physically. I’m still playing games, but not as much. I did reinstall COD, but just not feeling as enthusiastic as I once did. I’m enjoying GTA RP, but there is so much to learn and it gets frustrating and overwhelming all at the same time. My heart just isn’t in much of anything at the moment. I will find my mojo again, but need time to figure out what’s going on with my physical ailments.

I appreciate each and every one of you. It’s been an amazing journey that will continue… just need to care for myself at the moment so I can be the best I can be for you, my amazing community. Thank you for your patience. You guys are truly amazing!

Let’s go! We hit 1300 followers yesterday! I’ve been so busy that I missed it! New GTA RP coming soon! I also reinstalled Call of Duty and have played a little. Still not sure how I’m feeling about COD at the moment. I’ve had a lot going on lately. There will be no weekly livestream this Friday night because my beloved Steelers are playing their first pre-season game Friday night. One day at a time! Thanks for being part of The Nursing Home!

Yesterday was a tough one. Our baby boy, Jackson, joined his brothers across the Rainbow Bridge. He was 19 years and 2 months old. It’s been a very rough few days watching the once happy go lucky, most affectionate cat struggle with so much arthritic pain. We knew it was time to let him be free of the pain and run free with his brothers who recently passed before him. Today continues to be a struggle.

I've been having a little too much fun playing GTA again! Too much fun meaning I've been spending HOURS playing, unlike I did with COD. I spent 14 hours over the past 2 days playing! That's CRAZY insane! Tomorrow I will probably stream the crazy fun in the evening! So tune in!

My first serious RP experience! Two robberies, two escapes... then we ran into bad luck and got robbed and killed ourselves... As a newbie to RP, it's daunting to learn everything, but the action sure is fun! And thankful to some great RP players that are willing to teach this old lady how to play! Fear not peeps! I may have uninstalled Call of Duty, but that won’t stop me from having fun! Variety is the Spice of Life!

So I did a thing last night. I’ve always loved Grand Theft Auto V. I have played hundreds of hours of the game in story mode and online mode. I’ve streamed a lot of my online mode here as well. I have watched many hours of my favorite streamers like Summit1G and XQC play RP mode. So, I decided to finally give it a try! I joined the RP server ForbiddenCityRP. It’s a newer server that is growing. In my first 4 hours of gameplay I met 4 great people that helped me out tremendously. I learned a lot. Learning all the keybinds is daunting, but I’m getting there! Very soon I will be introducing you to Lottie and we will get into some mischief together!

I will still be playing Farlight 84 on a regular basis and streaming it on Friday nights for sure. I will continue to play other first person shooters as well. I will eventually play COD again, I’m sure. I love the game, but have a hate hate relationship with Activision. 😂 I just need a break from it. It’s been infuriating lately.

So do not fear. Content will change a bit, but my silly antics will not! I have to save some clips before I can create some Reels. Be patient! It’s a process!

As a 59 year old gamer, I have played many many different types games. I’ve gone through many consoles and switched to PC and mouse and keyboard gaming a year and a half ago. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks! 😂
