FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency is encouraging people impacted by the severe storms in Oklahoma between April 25th and May 9th to apply for assistance ahead of the July 31st deadline.
Several counties are eligible for assistance, including Ottawa County. FEMA representatives say they are prepared to help in a variety of ways including rental assistance, basic home repairs, personal property loss and other expenses related to storm damage.
