We’re excited to invite you to a fun and scenic group bike ride from the Richmond BART Station to the Cerrito Theater. Our goal is to catch the free 10 AM matinee showing of The Goonies, a beloved classic adventure film that’s sure to bring out the kid in all of us!

Ride Details:

Date: Sunday July 7th
Meeting Time: 8:30 AM
at Richmond BART Station. 1600 Macdonald AveRichmond, CA 94801

Departure Time: 8:45 AM sharp. Please be on time so we can enjoy a leisurely ride and make it to the theater with plenty of time to spare.

Route: We’ll take a safe and scenic route through the city, ensuring everyone has a pleasant ride. This is a family-friendly 10 mile ride suitable for ages 8 and up. The route is slow roll for all skill levels, so don’t worry if you’re not a pro cyclist!

What to Bring: Make sure your bike is in good working condition, bring a helmet, some water, and a lock for when we arrive at the theater. We’ll have a limited number of extra lock for people who need them.

About the Movie: The Goonies is a fun-filled adventure that follows a group of kids on a quest to find hidden treasure. It’s a great movie for all ages, full of excitement, laughs, and nostalgia.

RSVP: Please RSVP so we know how many riders to expect. Feel free to invite your friends, family, and anyone who loves biking and classic movies!

Let’s make this a memorable morning filled with fresh air, great company, and a fantastic film. We look forward to seeing you there!

Protect your pets!
Signs of overheating in animals include:

Zero Tolerance “No Fireworks” Campaign 🚫

As we approach the 4th of July, we want to remind everyone about our zero tolerance “No Fireworks” Campaign. The use of fireworks is strictly prohibited, and anyone found in violation of this ordinance can face substantial fines. Our goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday for everyone.

Instead of risking safety with fireworks, we encourage you to join us for the city of Pinole’s official 4th of July Celebration!

Thursday Nights @ MainLibrary - Adult Arts & Crafts Programs

Join us for free adult craft programs when we create vision boards on June 27, decorate bookends on July 11, make necklaces on July 25, and have a paint party on August 8 from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Main Library Whittlesey Room.

No previous art experience is needed, all materials will be provided, and recommended for adults. For more information visit www.richmondlibrary.org or call the Main Adult Reference desk at (510) 620-6561.
