Pinecrest Pinecrest Patriot Volleyball junior outside and middle hitter Carly Stayskal is Athlete of the Week.

The Patriots split two conference games last week. In a five-set loss to Jack Britt, Stayskal led the way with 17 kills, 15 receptions, seven digs and five aces. In a win over Richmond, she had 11 kills, 18 receptions, 12 digs and three aces.

Stayskal currently ranks 11th in NC Class 8A in service aces.
