J &J Engineering wants to go away from the traditional way of equipment and way most bee keepers keep pollinating honey bees.
We want to do away with the nets, use redesigned hive and management during pollination. (Net removal saves time while loading and unloading bees and also is better public safety of no bees being able to sting the public during transport, it is also a liability issue if somebody gets hurt by the bees.) (We believe a benefit will also be reduced cost of a load of bees being transported.)
Together it is a whole different way of commercial bee keeping but it is also just little changes to this and that, that together makes it totally different. What are all the changes that is restricted information for now. It is years of research and thinking outside ten honey box of how to maybe do it better. (To be tested)
To change anything in bee keeping is very difficult because the ways we do stuff now has been honed over years and it’s the best ways we have came up with, it’s also working within the honey bee’s ways, the honey bee does stuff only certain ways and to design new ways within this bee’s way is extremely difficult.
It is little changes that together makes a big difference we believe,
we believe we will get a bigger field force during pollination as a result of the changes. We believe during pollination time of doing XYZ will get more benefit of increased pollen collection. A bigger brood nest is key to this design, or maximize the brood nest for the area we have.
We believe no one is doing all the new designs and ways for pollinating almonds (etc) and we believe it ends up being a better pollinated crop which also should result in a premium for the pollination service.
