"Lady! You can't do that here!" Keith said, widening his eyes in shock.

"Yes, I can. I'm feeding my baby," she responded, unfazed.

Keith looked at the other passengers, but many looked down or away. So, none of them wanted to get into this fight. But he saw a few moving around, trying to escape the woman. He was not the only uncomfortable person on the ride. The light turned green, so he had to keep driving, shaking his head the entire time.

"I can't believe the gall of some people. There's no decency anywhere these days. Kids think they're entitled to the whole world and just take out their bosom in front of complete strangers," he started mumbling, but the words got louder and louder.

He saw the woman adjusting her cover through the rearview mirror to hide more of herself, but that wasn't enough.

Keith chuckled but composed himself quickly. "Like I said, no decency. Where's her husband? Why didn't anyone in her life tell her to have some self-respect? It's disgusting," he added and chuckled.

Keith kept mocking her until she was done breastfeeding and stood to leave a few stops later. He watched her go with a self-satisfied smirk, silently wishing he'd never have to deal with such behavior again.

But when the bus doors opened, Keith saw a man waiting for her. He had assumed she was a single mom, but seeing her husband shocked him. Then the man looked up, and Keith's face went pale as he recognized him immediately.👇

Just a few days into married life, Matt casually dropped a bombshell. While we were lounging on the couch, he said, "Oh, by the way, we'll be giving your salary to Mom. She'll manage our budget."

I laughed, thinking he was joking. "What?"

"Mom has this great system," he said, completely serious. "50% goes to the husband for personal needs, 25% for groceries, and 25% for gifts to Mom and family. She's handled finances like this for years—it's perfect. She says, 'A HUSBAND'S CHEER, MAKES LIFE DEAR!'"

I stared at him. "You're joking, right?"

"No," he replied, looking genuinely confused. "This is how a real family works. You agreed to this when you married me."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He expected me to hand over my paycheck to his mom? And half of it was for him to spend on himself?

That night, I couldn't sleep. Was this the man I married? How had I missed this controlling side? But if Matt and his mom thought I'd go along with their ridiculous plan, they had no idea who they were dealing with.

The next morning, I played along. "You're right, Matt," I said sweetly over breakfast. "Let's give your mom's system a try."

So there I was, at the altar on my wedding day, totally unaware of the chaos about to unfold. Just as I was wrapping up my vows, I noticed a ripple of whispers in the crowd.

Turning to look, I saw five women in wedding dresses striding toward us. My groom Fred went pale like he'd seen a ghost — and he clearly knew each one of them.

They came right up to us, and one of them, with this smirk on her face, said, "I'm Margaret. Fred here knows me very well." She shot him a wink, and the silence in the room got real loud, real fast. 😳👇

I GAVE MONEY TO A POOR WOMAN WITH A BABY — THE NEXT MORNING, MY BREATH CAUGHT IN MY THROAT AS I SAW HER AT MY HUSBAND'S GRAVE.

It started on a Tuesday. You don't expect life to unravel on a day as mundane as a Tuesday, but there I was — arms full of groceries, stepping into a drizzle — when I saw her.

She sat on the curb outside the grocery store, cradling a baby wrapped in a faded blue blanket. She looked mid-twenties, with hollow cheeks and storm-filled eyes. A mother's desperation is an awful thing to witness.

"Please," she whispered as I passed. "Anything helps."

I never give money to strangers. But that day, I hesitated. Maybe it was her baby's quiet, resigned face that reached into my chest and pressed hard. I handed her $50. Not a fortune, but enough for a meal or warm clothes. She blinked up at me, stunned, before whispering a trembling, "Thank you."

The next morning, I brought flowers to my husband's grave. Time had dulled the grief, but I still visited weekly, always early, when the cemetery was empty.

Except this time, it wasn't.

There she was — the woman from the curb. She knelt beside my husband's grave. When I saw what she was doing, I froze. My breath caught in my throat as I watched her.

MY FATHER SKIPPED MY BIRTHDAY DINNER TO TAKE HIS STEPDAUGHTER TO SEE SANTA CLAUS AT THE MALL.

Growing up, I always felt like a side character in my dad's life. After my parents divorced when I was 14, he remarried Linda, who had a 2-year-old daughter, Emma. From the moment they became a family, it was clear where his priorities lay.

I told myself Dad was just trying to be a good stepfather, but over time, it was impossible to ignore how much I'd been pushed aside. School recitals, soccer games, even my high school graduation — he missed them all for "something important" involving Emma.

The final straw came on my 22nd birthday. I planned a special family dinner to celebrate, inviting Dad, Linda, Emma, and other relatives. But two hours before, I got a text from Dad:

"Hey, can't make it tonight. Linda and I are taking Emma to see Santa at the mall. She just decided she wants to go. Rain check?"

No apology, no acknowledgment of how much it hurt.

I went to the dinner anyway, surrounded by the family who cared enough to show up. Halfway through dinner, I stood up and tapped my glass.

"I want to thank you all for being here tonight," I began, my voice steady despite the knot in my throat. "I have some news to share."

Hiking is my main hobby, something I truly love. So, on Saturday, I barely made it 100 meters into the forest when I heard someone shouting, "Help! Help!" I ran toward the voice, and that's when I saw her.

She was standing there on the forest trail, dressed in a pristine white wedding gown. It was such a surreal sight that I thought I might be hallucinating. I pulled out my phone to take a picture, just to have proof to show my friends and family later that this actually happened.

She ran up to me, tears streaming down her face.

“What happened?” I asked.

“YOU HAVE TO MARRY ME!” she said, sobbing.⬇️

JOKE OF THE DAY: Paul woke up with a huge hangover after attending his company’s Christmas party. He didn’t even remember how he got home from the party. As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he had done something wrong.

He had to force himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he saw was a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. Next to them, a single red rose! Paul sat up and saw his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. He looked around the room and saw that it was in perfect order, and spotlessly clean. So was the rest of the house.

He took the aspirins and cringed when he saw a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror. Then he noticed a note taped to the mirror written in red with little hearts on it and a kiss mark from his wife in lipstick: “Honey, breakfast is on the stove. I left early to get groceries to make you your favorite dinner tonight. I love you, Darling!”

He stumbled to the kitchen and sure enough, there was hot breakfast, steaming hot coffee, and the morning newspaper. His son was also at the table, eating.

Paul asked, “Son, what happened last night?”

“Well, you came home after 3 a.m., drunk and out of your mind. You fell over the coffee table and broke it, and then you puked in the hallway and got that black eye when you ran into the door.”

Confused, he asked his son, “So, why is everything in such perfect order and so clean? I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me.”⬇️

"Of course, ma’am," Stefania replied. "What is it?"
"Could I see George just once more?" I felt tears welling up in my eyes.
"I'm sorry, ma’am," Stefania said with regret. "His body was in terrible condition when our hospital received him after the fire. I think it’s best you didn’t see him."
I had to make peace with that. So, I arranged the funeral for the following week, and Stefania stayed by my side the entire time.
Years went by. One day, I left my room to watch television with the other residents. But as I looked more closely at the screen, my eyes filled with tears.
It was my husband. Alive.
"Is that really you, George?!" I was so confused and overwhelmed. But then, something caught my attention.
"Wait, who’s that young woman in the swimsuit? And why did she kiss George?!" I exclaimed aloud. Maybe I was mistaken. Maybe it wasn’t George…

My MIL is getting married at 70 — ridiculous!

I can't believe what I just saw! My mother-in-law, who was sent to a nursing home, has found a man there and is throwing a wedding. And look at this photo of her in a wedding dress! Isn't this ridiculous for someone her age?

Honestly, it feels like she's just making a fool of herself. At 70, she should know better than to play dress-up and pretend to be a bride. She'd be better off spending that money on her grandkids!

What do you all think? Am I being too harsh, or is this just not right?

Hey everyone, Maureen from Boise, Idaho here. My cheating husband told me I should be grateful he stays with me because nobody else could stand me. "LOOKING AT MY HIDEOUS FACE"

I recently discovered that my husband has been cheating on me. When I confronted him about it and mentioned divorce, he cruelly said, “You should be grateful I stay with you because nobody else could stand looking at THAT hideous face every day.”

I’m devastated and hurt beyond words. His comment has completely shattered my self-esteem. I know I am old (67) but when I dress up and fix myself, I still get a look or two.

I really don’t know how someone can be this cruel to the person that brought you four children in this world. I was hurt and sad. But then I thought to myself this a***e doesn’t love me anymore and he thinks because we are this old he can do whatever he wants.

Ok Mister Martin, let’s play it your way. I WILL MAKE YOU REGRET THIS. Folks, you won’t believe what I did to this idiot just a few days later.

Three days in a row I am acting all normal, and even better. Serving him meals on time, cleaning around and giving extra effort in respecting him. You should have seen that petty little man’s expression. Happy thinking that he showed me who’s the boss.

Jason and I had been together for 15 years. When his parents kicked him out when he was 17, my family took him in, helped him finish high school, and supported him, but we've never been officially married.

Ten years ago, Jason saved enough to purchase a house. Four years ago, he was diagnosed with cancer, and as his health declined, I stepped in to help pay the mortgage.

The cancer took him in March. After this, his family suddenly reappeared. A month ago, they reached out, demanding I hand over the keys to the house. They even brought a sassy lawyer with them. They had no idea that I had a background in law myself.

"He did leave you an inheritance," I said, watching as their eyes lit up with anticipation. They were already grinning, thinking they had won.

I reached into my bag and pulled out a sealed envelope. "He left you this."

But when they finished, they looked up at me, their anger boiling over.

"How dare you?! Give us the keys!" Jason's father demanded, his voice trembling with fury.

I hesitated, staring at the chipped paint on the neighbor's door, then knocked. No answer. I knocked again, louder this time, but still nothing.

"Hello? It's me, from next door," I called out, hoping to hear some sign of life inside.

Nothing. The house remained eerily quiet, the silence pressing down. After what felt like an eternity, I hesitantly pushed the door open and stepped inside.

My footsteps sounded loud against the wooden floor as I wandered through the rooms, each one emptier than the last.

Then, in the living room, I found this baby girl.

"Oh God, your mother must be going crazy now!" I exclaimed aloud. She was sitting on the floor, holding a piece of paper in her tiny hands. With trembling hands, I unfolded it.

"Don't waste time looking for me if you find this note. She's yours if you want her. We know you'll take good care of her. And please, forgive me."

I looked at Ethan, hoping he'd step in. He just shrugged. "It's fine, babe. It's just a chair."

I was furious, but then I paused. My anger melted into something far more useful: determination. "You know what, Patricia?" I said, forcing a sweet tone. "You're absolutely right. Let's do it your way."

So, a bit of background: My ex and I were married for 13 years, have two kids, and somehow managed to stay best friends after splitting up. We co-parent like pros, even though our marriage had its ups and downs.

Yesterday was our eldest's birthday, and we all went out for a meal. My ex has been seeing this new woman for about four months. He told me right away because we're all about keeping things clear for the kids. He asked if she could come to the birthday dinner. I wasn't thrilled about not meeting her first, but I didn't want to be intrusive, so I said sure.

The new girlfriend seemed nice, friendly, and genuinely interested in getting along, which was a relief. If she's going to be around my kids, she better be a good person.
