Young, vibrant, creative and with a history full of twists and turns, Let EF Tour Director Silvia lead us through Berlin, which she considers to be the coolest city in Europe.
Nowhere will you feel so strongly the heavyweight of an often dark past mixed with a sense of joy, freedom, and tolerance. Considered "Poor but sexy" until a decade ago, today is the cultural metropolis where the walls are fallen and old and new architecture coexist harmonically. And where everyone craves to go.
You can get to explore the different facets of Berlin through our walking tour: We will start from the Parliament Building and its tormented story, heading up to the city´s most famous landmark: Brandenburger Gate and the surroundings Memorials. We will then continue on the charming Avenue of Unter den Linden and its many historical buildings, like The Humboldt University and the Museum Island, to finish our tour in Alexanderplatz, with its famous TV Tower.
As an adopted Berliner, let Silvia make you fall in love with this city as much as she did!
