Love, Life and Overcoming Hate
My name is Tine Scrapie; I'm an activist, poet, actress, and barber in that order. I also like to think of myself as a motivation/inspirational sprinkler. I am a part of the LGBTQ community, and I am also family-oriented with two kids recently-separated. I enjoy writing poetry about real-life and real-time subjects. I appreciate honest and genuine conversations with friends and family; sometimes, a conversation can turn into a therapy session of sharing life experiences that others may learn from based on how you or they overcame their situations and experiences.
I look forward to and strive for growth in all areas of my personal and professional life.
My quote would be, "It's ok to be you; being you can be the hardest and easiest thing to do. It is hard when you are lost and even harder when you are finding your true self. To be your true self is to understand your dramas and traumas while taking steps to move past and overcome them, all while keeping your head held high and chin even higher."
At The Age of 14, I lost my firstborn
Meet Colita Willis, a mother, Healthcare provider, Business Entrepreneur, Certified Social Media Marketer, Certified Transport Driver, and Notary. She is now the CEO and owner of "Sho You Right Boutique," where she provides unique, classy, and affordable accessories for every occasion. Colita states, "Accessories provide personal feelings to an outfit; It's the final piece added that usually speak for you when you walk into a room before saying anything." Colita is currently working on a not-for-profit organization called "Footsteps of Shaquille Marable," named after her son and firstborn child that passed away as a stillborn from a teenage pregnancy when she was 14 years old. She wants to help young teenage girls and women who experienced this painful loss in their lives. Colita is also an inspiring author who is currently writing her first book; she hopes that her written work will inspire others while sharing her life experiences and business knowledge. Colita is also very outspoken, high-spirited, and Unapologetic. She has first-hand experience growing up in urban America and pledges to use her voice where change is necessary. She is truly an example of walking by faith when so many may be losing faith in today's society. She enjoys the opportunity to tell God thank you for her accomplishments and the many other endeavors that lay before her in her future; Colita knows she could have never made it without believing and trusting in Him.

The Art of Crafting a Story with R. Weir
With Nanowrimo in full swing, we are speaking with Author R. Weir about the art of storytelling.
Relationships The Real versus the fake
In this episode of Pandem Presents we will be talking about the fictional relationships authors write about compared to the real relationships we deal with in day-to-day life. Can we learn from these fictional relationships or is it all just for entertainment?
The Art of Cultivating Healthy Relationships
"The Healing Journey: Relationship Health and Wellness Guide" is a radical book on wellness that supports readers for a whole year. It's written for people who are done being a victim, but don’t know how to find their power yet. They know to look inside, but need a flashlight. This book is the flashlight. It tells you how to heal trauma without forgiving the person who caused it, how to build relationships when you don't trust people, and how to re-parent your inner child. This year-long guide meets you where you are and capitalizes on your resilience. It includes daily healing prompts to invite readers into transformation no matter how old or deeply hidden their pain. The author goes into the cracks of the psyche where people unknowingly give away their power by following outdated norms. They will understand how what happened to them influences the health and wellness of their relationships. The action-oriented book gives permission and lessons to unlearn harmful practices that have been normalized. It guides readers to change familiar responses that haunt and trap them into dysfunctional patterns. The chapters are set by months, and each month contains an essay, daily short healing prompts, and an activity for self-reflection and awareness. Wherever readers are on their healing journey, this book will take them further.

Prevention is the answer
Patients must take an active role in their health care, treatment decision and comply with the medical providers if preventive care is provided. Due to the increased care of medication, unrestricted FDA imported foods, internet self-treatments this epidemic of kidney disease will continue to climb. Patients must gain preventive knowledge. Risk factors that cause kidney disease are manageable and must address and followed to receive the full effect of prevention healing. Raising awareness must include education. - Preventive knowledge is power but sharing preventive knowledge is powerful.
