The President of Pepperell Community Media's Board is asking State Legislators to support House Bill H 74, which will provide some much needed funding for Public Access Television. PCM urges viewers who agree to contact local legislators and tell them so.
The Pepperell Media Boys we on hand in Dunstable for the kick off of their 2023 Concert Series held in the gazebo on the common.
The Delta Generators brought the energy, and with some additional horns, really put on a couple of very slick sets.
See the full concert video, coming soon at www.pepperellchannel.org
The PCM Boys were out in full force today capturing sights and sounds from Pepperell's annual Memorial Day Observance. Many turned out on this beautiful spring day to see the parade and take part in remembering those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Don't tell me this town ain't got no heart.
Pepperell Media was on hand at The Albert Harris Center this morning to help honor our servicemen and women who died protecting our freedoms.
There's no thank you that is adequate for those whose names appear on the seemingly endless list of those who gave their all.
The AHC staff produced a great presentation of patriotism and remembrance, and the breakfast was most wonderful too!
PCM was out before the rains last Saturday with the friendly faces of The Pepperell Garden Club.
They were holding their annual plant sale at The Albert Harris Center, making bank to support all of the splendid projects they keep busy with around town.
Thanks for keeping Pepperell beautiful. One petal at a time.
PCM was on hand Saturday with volunteers at the GWOT Monument taking part in Pepperell's annual flag planting.
Jean Connolly and Co. have this down to a science now and I'm sure they completed their patriotic task before the rains fell.
I hope so, anyway.
Nice presentation honoring Chief David Scott's significant career in service to Pepperell at Town Meeting, May 8, 2023.
Nice work Chief. You and your crew are top notch professionals and Pepperell has been very fortunate to have such a dedicated leader at the helm of such a critical community resource.
Hip Hip Hooray indeed.
This is a short video we created as an episode for the Center Stage show we used to record at Albert Harris Center. It highlights one of our PCM Boys, Gerry Couper, presenting a lesson from his technology class to Pepperell seniors.
Gerry performs a similar role at PCM, as he translates the confusing technical concepts of software operation to staff members who need to be able to use it, but don't necessarily know how it works. (Which would pretty much be exclusively me.)
He's a great asset to PCM and the community, and you can see by the video that he's very much appreciated.
Go Gerry!
PCM is happy to collaborate with Pink Revolution Breast Cancer Alliance in their goal to reach out to cancer patients with support during their treatments. Thanks to Lauren Caulfield of Pink Revolution for coming out to the banks of the Mighty Nissitissit to record this little promo with us.
The Pepperell Media Boys were on hand at Lawrence Library Saturday night, May 21 to see The Ballou Brothers perform in The Gallery.
These fellas put on a great show for the packed house in attendance as well as those watching PCM's live cablecast on Spectrum channel 194 or streamed online at PepperellChannel.org.
Here they are stretching out on an old Garcia / Hunter chestnut.
Thanks to Deb Spratt for arranging this great show, which can be seen in it's entirety at: https://pepperell.vod.castus.tv/vod/?video=e765b416-f365-422b-a168-35c5ccf0be56
The Pepperell Community Media Boys were honored to be on hand today as The Wall That Heals exhibit rolled through town on it's way to Townsend. This scale replica of the Vietnam War Memorial will be on display at the High School for a few days. Get on over there and take a look.
Billy Strings, Terry Barber
In February of 2020 bluegrass recording artist Billy Strings and his Dad Terry Barber played to a sold out hometown audience in Traverse City, MI. The event was streamed live by our colleagues at Traverse Area Community Media. Billy Strings and his band were recently awarded a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album, and being fans ourselves here at PCM, we thought we’d share some with you. The entire performance can be viewed at https://pepperell.vod.castus.tv/vod/?video=4745fca1-122c-42a3-9188-cfe2995a5835 Segments of this performance can also be seen on PCM’s Spectrum channel 194.
